From fruit scraps to vegan imitation leather<br />
The peels and remains of fruits and vegetables, and unsellable<br />
produce, often find their way into the trash. But nowadays<br />
this waste is separated from other organic waste and used to<br />
produce pulp. This pulp is enriched with various supplements<br />
and then spread evenly on metal plates for drying in a special<br />
oven. The result? Supple sheets of vegan imitation leather,<br />
which are then provided with a beautiful finish. After drying, a<br />
soft and attractive material is created that consists partly of fruit<br />
remains and partly of PU (polyurethane). This vegan imitation<br />
leather is virtually indistinguishable from real leather and is used,<br />
among other things, to produce various promotional products.<br />

A5 notebook with a hard cover made of pineapple imitation<br />
leather. This material is made with 30% recycled pineapple<br />
components. The beautiful vegan imitation leather is<br />
indistinguishable from real leather. This notebook has approx.<br />
80 sheets/160 pages of white, lined FSC-certified paper (80 g/<br />
m²) and is equipped with an elastic closure, a bound spine, pen<br />
