Jesus, y’all. I was beginning to think I’d never be able to write these words.
Five months of struggling against massive imposter syndrome and
procrastination, and I finally finished. I want to say I’ve learned my lesson,
but let’s be honest: this is just who I am. I like the rush.

McIntire. The person who reads everything I write (even when it’s rewritten
and scrapped ten times), who reminds me that I belong here, who deals with
