Picturesque Brigadoon Charolais Turning a cattle shed into a banquet hall at Brigadoon Craig Scott presents the country thank you gifts to the Connolly Family at Brigadoon Our final day of touring was to the Brigadoon herd of David Connolly and family near Ballynahinch. This family likes showing and had the Junior Champion Bull in the Castlewellan show the day before. It is a beautiful farm with great views from the hills above the yard. The herd started in 1979 they run 30 cows and have had success not only in the show ring but have sold bulls across the UK. Back to the hotel to get cleaned up and ready for the Gala dinner which was held in the Titanic Museum, which we toured before supper. After supper there were presentations of the upcoming Technical Conference in Czech Republic and Charolais Congress in Canada along with country presentations to the host organizers and thank yous for all their work. A very upbeat band had many dancing the night away and then saying goodbyes, as all were departing in the morning for home.
