The highs and lows came flooding over the last 7 days. The euphoria from the myriad of token drops was like 

an adrenaline rush that had everyone excited to be part of the ecosystem. Unfortunately, the 'sudden rush' 

lasted only a couple of days before it all turned to dust in our hands. Which 'meme' coin will reign supreme? 

Will it be the tried and tested $SAMO? The OG $KIN? Maybe $WOOF? Or will it be one of the new memes on 

the block? $FRONK or $BONK? I have my fingers crossed for $BONK. The adoption and integration across the 

space for $BONK has been promising. Auctions. Marketplaces. Staking. NFT minting. Even hey_wallet tipping 

to the community. $BONK has truly captured Solana's imagination. Maybe when the dust settles $BONK might 

just push through?

An Enigma Wrapped in a Mystery 

Introduction. 

The Fracture was originally known as SolGods, and was conceived as a collective whose defining feature, 

above all, would be its ambition to represent artistic excellence. 

Inspired by the art of Greek-Italian surrealist Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978), SolGods stood out at the time of 

its mint in October 2021 as a huge departure from the norm of the time. 

Blockchain native art has developed significantly in its short history, but at the time of release, the market was 

heavily saturated, and had become stale. 

Following the success of early Ethereum projects, generative collections depicting cartoon-style animals were 

commonplace. The Bored Ape trope had been tried, tested, emulated, and worn out. 

The contrast of a collection who looked into art history for its inspiration was stark, and to many represented a 

refreshing departure. 

(SolGods has since been rebranded simply as Gods, and will be referred to by its updated titled throughout 

the rest of this article.) 

Beginnings. 

Gods sold out on October 29th, 2021. In the fast paced 

world of Solana NFTs, this seems like a lifetime ago. 

Many collections of the same era raised huge sums at 

mint, only to fail to produce value for holders, or sustain 

themselves long term. Indeed many have disappeared 

without trace. 

For Gods, however, the plan had always been different. 

They minted for a relatively modest 0.66 Sol. What has 

followed has been the result of a project and a team who 

had already set their ambitions far higher than just selling 

out a single collection and riding it out until the money 

was gone. 

Immediately after selling out the collection, the team 

dropped the first of their now infamous and acclaimed 

‘Enigma’ riddles. This took the form of a series of puzzles 

for holders to solve, with the promise of prizes for the 

successful few who managed it.

As the community scrambled to solve them, it brought an intense, almost frenzied energy to the project, 

which was still in its infancy. They were an overwhelming success, and eventually birthed the first 

of many additional drops and collections. 

Since then, the team have gradually unrolled their plans to expand and build something that went well 

beyond the original framework. The project became ‘The Fracture’, a wider universe, rich in lore, that 

would become the basis for other collections, artwork, storytelling, and more. 

Now, this overarching universe consists of three main collections: Gods, Bridged, and Forgotten (yet to 

be released), and a plethora of additional works, with varying flavours of artistic expression or holder 

utility. 

For founder, Hex (@LH_exe), the ambitions birthed even before the Gods mint have remained undiminished. 

He wanted to create a universe of characters, color, and beauty. All on the blockchain, and as 

expansive and creative as anything outside of Web3:

The overarching story concerns the Bridged, a portion of humanity who have undergone genetic and 

technological modification at great cost to the environment and the planet; the Forgotten, who are the 

rest of humanity who are yet to become Bridged, and the gods: mysterious beings who appeared at the 

peak of the crisis that mankind’s actions created.

How these characters and collections all mesh together is part of the journey for the team, who have

Many of the above collections contain exclusive and unique works of art in their own right, many of 

which are 1/1s. It must be acknowledged that the Fracture team have worked hard to bring creative 

expression to the blockchain, from a multitude of different creatives and artists. 

Indeed, support of the artists in their own community has been notable. This is a community who are 

invested in the success of art throughout the blockchain. A search for the word ‘artist’ in the Fracture 

discord yields over 2k results! 

And the puzzles have not stopped either. Of late, the Enigma concept expanded to a holiday season 

special edition. Billed as an experiment, this time the team released The Enigma Cube, an NFT which 

was used as a ticket to enter the puzzle, with mint funds contributing to a large prize pool containing 

Sol and NFTs. Marketed as “A complicated puzzle in the form of a dynamic NFT”, over 600 cubes were 

minted, with the winner receiving 150 Sol in prize money. 

Staking & missions. 

By design, all NFTs that have been produced by the team at The Fracture are works of art. But they have 

not been designed to merely be admired. Many of their most important utilities are unrelated to their 

aesthetics. 

In basic terms, Gods & Omnium NFTs can be staked, and the rest cannot. Staking will yield the $GOD 

token, which can be used in a number of ways. The team have called it “the exclusive internal currency 

for every action within The Fracture”. 

Using $GOD, you can send your Bridged (and in future, your Forgotten) NFTs on Extractions / Missions. 

These are a form of gamified staking which can yield more $GOD, XP points, or win the holder additional 

NFTs which can be utilized on future missions. Or nothing. Just like real life, sometimes missions can

also yield nothing. 

Tokenomics. 

The team at The Fracture have designed a token system in an attempt to avoid some of the pitfalls 

which sometimes befall inflationary tokens which have an exponential emission, a problem faced by 

many NFT projects. 

For some projects, for example DeGods, the solution is to reduce the amount of token emitted over 

time, eventually to nothing. For The Fracture, their solution is elegant: two tokens, dynamically related. 

The $GOD token, earned by staking, is the internal currency of their universe, designed to have internal 

utility only. 

The second token, $OMNI, will have real-world liquidity and will be tradeable. However, the relationship 

between the two will be necessarily dynamic, whereby when $GOD becomes more abundant, it’s 

value in $OMNI will decrease, and vice versa. This token is slated for release in the future, at such a 

time as the ecosystem and economy of the Fracture universe is more developed, and when macro conditions 

are suitable. For now, it remains part of the team’s longer-term planning. 

The design of these tokenomics is one of the many ways in which this team have approached some of 

the challenges faced by Web3 - and NFT projects in particular - with elegant solutions. 

Art & collaboration. 

As a project rooted in fine art, The Fracture have sought to empower and support artists in the space 

since launching. For example, their ‘Ode to Art’ collection is a series of 1/1 pieces created by members 

of the community and minted for them, for auction, by the team. 

Market resilience & revenue streams. 

The team have not just been supporting creativity and artistic expression in the space. They have also 

developed their own art production studio, both as a source of income, but also as an outlet for creative 

exploration. 

When I heard from the founding team earlier this fall, they were fully cogniscent of the challenges facing 

projects throughout the space following the pivot to 0% royalties. 

The creation of the in-house OMNI Creative many months ago looked like a wise pivot before 0% royalties, 

and afterwards looks like a stroke of outstanding prescience. Acting as a creative studio and artist 

management agency, The Fracture have added a value asset to their growing portfolio and ensured that 

their longevity in the space is more secure.

unrelated to royalties, and therefore invaluable:

Future Plans. 

Even in an off the record conversation, the team at The Fracture were understandably coy about revealing 

too many details on future plans for the project. This is not to suggest there are not significant 

steps already mapped out. But this is a project that relies heavily on intrigue, carefully woven story, and 

mystery. The ongoing enigma puzzles are testament to this (sadly, they did not give us any clues, sorry 

folks). 

One big piece of the puzzle that is set to come is the third major collection slated for release in 2023: 

The Forgotten. This represents both an important step in the lore of the Fracture universe, and a

chance for holders to anticipate which artistic direction the project will choose to go in. 

The finer details, as ever, are to be revealed. However, there is no doubting the team’s intention and 

ability to deliver outstanding value to their holders in the future. If the determination of their founder is 

anything to go by, the future looks exciting indeed for The Fracture. 

Conclusion. 

It has been observed by this author that NFTs have been categorised - sometimes with some justification 

- as merely. jpegs; illiquid, and without use or merit. 

They have been criticized and dismissed as non-credible, either for serious investors, or fine art collectors. 

And yet. 

Within the space there exists a select few whose substance, quality, and community have defied these 

detractors again and again. 

The Fracture are amongst them. 

They have set out to raise the standards of artistic production, creativity, and mystery within Web3. 

They have created a community and their own ecosystem which continues to delight, surprise, and give 

back to its members. 

In a very uncertain space, they have set the standard as a true blockchain-based brand. In this way they 

have now become the archetype; the standard against which others are measured. They have displayed 

a longevity that is impressive. Now - and rightly - their holders are expectant of what is to come.

We look at the Galactic Gecko Space Garage NFT collection, the status of the collection as it sets a trend with 

personalized traits, and where the collection could be heading in the near future.

Space-racing geckos with a warrior past are the stars of the Galactic Gecko Space Garage (GGSG), an NFT Social 

Adventure Club. With the founders out of the scene and a new DAO in power, is GGSG worth it? Let’s find out. 

What Is the Galactic Gecko Space Garage NFT Collection? 

Galactic Gecko Space Garage, or GGSG for short, is a blue-chip NFT collection in the Solana ecosystem that 

launched in 2021. As one of the OG projects in the Solana NFT scene, Galactic Gecko Space Garage is a 

10,000-piece NFT project with unique lizard-inspired PFPs with galactic-themed art. The project’s art has been a 

staple from its inception, owing to its well-known and renowned NFT artist – Gossip Goblin. 

The project lore depicts these NFTs as a part of an adventure social club of 10,000 former soldiers turned pacifist 

geckos who solve global problems by competing in space races. These ex-soldiers have chosen to settle political 

disputes through perilous spaceship races rather than wars. 

The lore divides each gecko racer into four factions: Alura, Targari, Martu, and Barada. An extra mysterious undiscovered 

garage is also present. The hidden faction is locked up, and somewhere in the vast space lies the key that 

will unlock it. The other four factions must band together to locate the extinct fifth one. 

The GGSG project is more than mere PFP. The DAO at Galactic Gecko Space Garage aims to build an immersive 

community-driven universe and storyline. The holders can voice feedback on various topics, including production 

and creative vision. 

The Four Factions of Galactic Gecko Space Garage (GGSG) 

Even seemingly insignificant individual traits have backstories that owners can learn in concise descriptions. The 

faction trait found in each Galactic Gecko NFT is its most significant feature. The four factions that a holder can 

get their hands on are: 

Taragi Faction – The Taragi faction is the only one with a central garage outside its natal galaxy. They are renowned 

for their love of and affinity for deep space and for the cutting-edge technology they employ to wander 

beyond. This faction has some of the most brilliant and talented brains in the Geckoverse.

Barada Faction – They have their central base in a hard-to-navigate meteor cloud. This party of racers is closest 

to the Geckos’ progenitors in the past due to their fierce reputation. The Barada have forgotten the least of the 

gecko warrior culture among all the racers thriving today, and their training, tradition, and mercilessness back it 

up. 

Martu Faction – The Martu are distinct from the other groups in that they occasionally engage in political 

scheming. They are among the slyest and most ruthless racers competing today. 

Alura Faction – The Alura are distinguished for their seemingly mystical flair. This group has generated some of 

the most heroic and dramatic gecko-racing personalities. 

Galactic Geckos 

By giving the owner of a Galactic Gecko NFT an identity beyond the standard character attributes and attires 

other NFT projects offer, factions empower and provide solid worth to the holder. 

Faction membership was randomized at the time of mint. So if a holder wants to switch to a different one, they 

can swap or sell their existing gecko for a new one of the desired faction. 

Geckoverse and the Grape Protocol 

Each faction has its own space for communication, granted by Grape Protocol integration. And by possessing a 

Galactic Gecko NFT, you are eligible for these exciting spaces. 

In the Geckoverse, there are currently three separate NFT collections: 

1. Galactic Geckos – These gecko space racers and former space mercenaries are the cornerstones of the Geckoverse. 

2. Enigma Crystals – The collection depicts these crystals as the epitome of Gecko technology. They could 

potentially be similar to the Mutant Serum airdropped to BYAC NFT owners. Enigma Crystals come in eight varieties 

and are required to unlock the garage door lock on the extinct faction. 

The team offered 2,602 Enigma Crystals to community members who owned gecko “teams” made up of one NFT 

from each of the four factions. The airdrop took place on October 22nd, 2021. 

3. Concordians – These NFTs are a group of droids created by the enigmatic fifth faction. The Concordians are in 

charge of everything and have brainwashed all the gecko leaders into pacifists. The fifth mystery faction supposedly 

made these smaller robotic geckos. 

Owners of Gecko NFTs received the 4,096-token Concordians collection through an airdrop on October 24th, 

2021. Currently, they only serve the goal of introducing new members to the community at a reasonable cost 

and are the most affordable entrée into the Garage.

Galactic Gecko Space Garage Rarity 

A Galactic Gecko can have permutations of 162 different traits. But having only four or fewer attributes are considered 

“clean” and could have a 35-60% premium above floor Geckos. There are seven categories of traits: 

Armor Body Eyes Ears Helmet Mouth Faction 

Every trait except faction has about five different rarities. And, these traits could be Common, Uncommon, Rare, 

Mythic, or Ultra rarity. Interestingly, Ghostly White, Spectral Black, and Neon Green body types command the 

highest prices. 

Factions can be distinguished from one another by the color of their backdrop: red for Barada, green for Martu, 

violet for Alura, and black for Targari. 

A holder can check the rarity of their Geckos NFT using the Galactic Gecko rarity tool or Concordian rarity 

tool and find the rarity percentage from the Solanafloor. 

The Galactic Gecko lore has been expertly crafted, and the loremaster has meticulously conjured up a story for 

every trait, including the common ones! You can explore the extensive Geckoverse lore using the interactive 

page on the old website. But please note that the DAO has created a new website for the collection, and the old 

one is no longer maintained. So only use it to scour through the lore. 

The collection has recently offered NFT staking, and locked non-custodial staking is live on the new official website. 

You can stake your Gecko NFT to earn CRED, their off-chain loyalty points. CRED, or Intergalactic Credits, is necessary 

to mint the fifth faction, animate your Geckos (not launched yet), gamified staking, and more. 

Galactic Gecko Solanart 

In the weeks before the Gecko collection’s mint on September 22nd, 2021, their unusual appearance garnered attention 

on social media. The mint price was about 2 SOL each, and all 10,000 Geckos swiftly sold out. Soon after, 

on October 2nd, 2021, the floor price skyrocketed to approximately 25x the mint price. 

You can buy Galactor Geckos from Solanart, and about 

113 are listed. MagicEden has around 233 geckos listed, 

while OpenSea has only single digits listed. Solanart has 

a similar UI to OpenSea, the most popular NFT marketplace. 

So for novices, Solanart might be a better option, 

even though it has only half the listings of MagicEden. 

But if you want to get on the bandwagon economically, 

MagicEden might be ideal because they have the lowest 

floor price. 

Conclusion 

The Gecko collection has captivating artwork, a reputation 

for being coveted, a sizable following, and a new 

team devoted to restoring them to their former glory. 

The lore is enticing and engaging. If you want to belong 

to a community that is active and has a long-term vision, 

GGSG could be a viable option.

@fierzafajri’s collage contributions to DAM are of particular note. They leave room for the viewer’s interpretation. Some 

live in the world of the absurd and surreal while others are grounded within the human experience.

@laternaiveNFT’s contributions to DAM are some of our fav pieces that he’s made. We enjoy the playful use of line 

drawings that transform everyday objects into imaginative creatures.

that he draws with a pen from the late 1800’s.

@transitorymask- His evolution as an artist is visible from one issue to the next. We’re fans of his comic style and can’t 

wait to see more in 2023.

@82dazai’s series of collage and spheres is minimalistic in a refreshing way demonstrating an understanding of composition 

and that less is often more.

@manuW_atx work is otherworldly. Her collaboration with @PowerCycleMEWE for the most recent issue of DAM is a 

standout. The combination of motion and sound is delightful. Hopefully the two will collaborate more in 2023.

@hersoid’s work is bold and refreshing. You’re left thinking about the layers, the meaning. His work with DAM has been 

prolific. We always look forward to seeing what boundary he’ll push next. His collab with @Artcons9 is a standout.

@abdik_o- A mixture of street photography and staged scenes (like his Hide and Seek series) present an interesting balance 

between spontaneous & controlled moments.

@0xgost- Audio/music is on the rise within NFTs. Of note is the @EchoCollective_and there’s one member we can’t stop 

listening to. @0xgpst’s beats are smooth, relaxing and so infectious.

@atrdynn’s use of color and pixelation is retro and playful while at the same time bringing a sense of texture that feels 

as if it’s a page torn from a book - a story waiting to be explored.

@destroyxstairs’ collage work feels combustible. That at any moment these worlds of oversized humans and their dysfunctional 

oversized systems might come crashing down.

@TajrinFaruqi’s naked man series is a fav. It’s playful yet vulnerable. The illustrated style presents a unique perspective. 

You find yourself starting to feel a connection to the naked man and his surreal daily existence.

It’s been a rollercoaster ride over the last 2 months at GigaDAO. From being on the verge of throwing in the towel 

to now being on the cusp of releasing an ecosystem shifting product. Let’s explore how we got to this point 

A little over 2 months ago, we were faced with a difficult decision. After building within the ecosystem for nearly 

a year, we had reached a point where we simply didn’t have the capital to continue for much longer. Time was

Street Photography is a very candid style, it is sincere and is born directly from human expression. This medium 

can convey a powerful message with a lot of emotion and this cannot happen without the connection that is 

established between the artist and the subject. 

What is captured on the streets always depends on the person behind the camera who is creating that moment. 

The photographer creates through their perception and context, and that is where all the emotion or memory 

is portrayed. When you see a street photograph or own one, you are entering a part of the mind of the artist. 

There are a lot of technicalities that you master throughout the process, but with Street Photography it’s mostly 

about how you learn to observe your surroundings, to capture the decisive moment.

on the streets, of finding beauty in imperfection, of observing all corners of the world to see how powerful all 

elements are when they become one. 

How did I start? Since I was little, I have always been experimenting and creating through different mediums, but

This was a time in my life where, for the first time on a personal level, I stepped out of my comfort zone by leaving 

my hometown country, coming out of high school, and feeling like for the first time I was listening a lot more 

to my consciousness. 

From the moment I started going outside with my camera and observing everything around me, I fell in love with 

the fact that I could see and capture beauty with my camera in places that would not normally be seen without 

it. It was through it that this medium helped me to uncover my shadows, reconnect with myself and become a 

whole. At that time, it helped me to zoom out and learn more about this beautiful nature that we all form part 

of. It made me look deeper into myself and it made me an explorer.

Tokyo Scenes Collection 

Coming to Japan felt like a dream come true. I was always interested to learn about their philosophy and culture, 

such as the Wabi Sabi philosophy. I was curious to learn about their way of observing the smallest details & finding 

beauty everywhere. 

I’ve felt a lot of growth in this city, getting very inspired by what my eyes were observing, and that is what I relate 

with this new collection. Tokyo felt like a movie since the moment I arrived and with this collection I became the 

director of that movie.
