Coqui Pins: Created by a local ceramic artisan, the coqui pin is a replica of the infamous Coqui frog

of Puerto Rico. If your guests are not familiar with the Coqui they will certainly get to know them

Taller Yagrumo is Debbie’’s art studio. Since 1998 Debbie has been designing

ceramic pieces inspired by the Taíno indigenous petroglyphs of Puerto Rico.

The coil technique and clay carvings are used in the creation of most of the pieces, painted with

wash resembeling oxidation. Each piece is hand made and painted. The purpose of Taller Yagrumo

is to cultivate

Puerto Rican cultural arts.

My interest in pottery originated early in my life while watching my mother use clay work as therapy

to entertain my grandmother in a long illness. Over the years experiences in life, were my best art

teachers. My travel helped me develops better sensory senses. In detail, I can remember that in a

work trip I fell in love with the clay artistic expression of Italian craftsmen. In the Roman markets I

learned to see the colors and shapes from a different perspective. It was also where I realize that the

mud or clay is a source of inspiration; it is a job… is a starting point. And is my art and feeling for

this land that bind together to create my work… so you can

Susana has been creating

artwork for over thirty years. Trained as an

Architect, she began her artistic career working in various mediums more as a hobby. At the age of 30 she

made the jump to full time artist. Since then, she has had many exhibitions in art galleries in Puerto Rico

and has exhibited throughout Europe with the Museum of the Americas. She uses brushes, spatulas, or even

her own fingers, but the result is always the same: a balanced scenario of color envisioned. Her paintings

are bright, vibrant and full of tropical color to best evoke the feelings of the

Caribbean and Puerto Rico.

We are happy to send samples to you! Generally speaking, shipping via USPS is the most economical option. Please

provide a ship to address and a shipper’s number (if you prefer via FedEx or UPS).

Pricing Notes

All prices are for the gift located in Puerto Rico, not including sales tax of 11.5%. Pricing is subject to change without

notice. Whilst we make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-date information, occasionally, one or

more items may be mispriced, or may change over the timespan between proposal and confirmation. In the event a

product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing

information received from our suppliers, Caribbean Trading Company shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders

placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

Guarantee/Cancellation Policy

Caribbean Trading Company is pleased to offer a cancellation/rescheduling policy. Cancellations must be received fortyfive

(45) days prior to the date of the event. Cancellations due to War, Government regulations, disasters, strikes, or

civil disorders making it illegal or impossible to provide the services, or hold the event will not be subject to cancellation

penalties. Any other reason for cancellations not previously described, are subjected to a 30% cancellation fee. The

charges will be as follows: for the transport of merchandise back to the warehouse, restocking, and the shipping and

handling costs of returned merchandise, a fee that is 30% of the total invoice will be levied. Custom and Local Artisan

orders and items with custom logos cannot be returned. These agreements above can only be canceled by Caribbean

Trading Company or Buyer forty-five (45) days prior to delivery.

Payment Notes

Caribbean Trading Company shall deliver to Buyer the goods indicated on the invoice as requested by the Buyer. Buyer

agrees to make payments by any of the following: Money order, check, wire transfer, PayPal, or credit cards. There is a

4% Expedited Payment fee to run credit cards through our retail division. For PayPal: If payment comes from the US the

charge is 2.9% plus a .30 transaction fee. If the payment comes from International, the charge is 3.9% with a .30

transaction fee. An 80% deposit is due upon invoice, and final balance due upon delivery.

Delivery

Our gifts are hand delivered in the San Juan Metroplex, Eastern Puerto Rico, and surrounding areas to one location,

Monday- Saturday. Delivery Charge: $1.00 per gift, minimum of $50.00. Sunday deliveries carry a $50.00 surcharge. For

large quantities, a discount will apply. We will coordinate with your CSM at the hotel to make arrangement for delivery.

Delivery and Shipping to Other Destinations

All quotes are the price of the actual gift. All other charges are done at actual. We will be happy to quote

for shipping/customs/duties up front but they are only an estimate and will be invoiced as a separate charge, not

included in the sell price of the gift. We are happy to use any provided shipping account.

Availability and Substitutions

While we monitor our inventory to ensure accuracy, there are on occasion, instances where certain items become

unavailable. When that occurs, we will let you know in advance and make suggestions for comparable vintages, varietals

or other substitutions of the same or greater value.

Production/Lead Time

While there are many gift items that can be done with a lesser lead time, we highly recommend allowing for a minimum

production/lead time of 4-6 weeks, unless otherwise noted. This is particularly true for artisan and logo’d items. Most

suppliers are making to order or carrying Just-in-Time inventory, so large inventory levels are not always available. It is

best to secure your gifts with time in advance.

We will personalize a local artisan 5x7 Gift Card with your personal message for an additional $2.00. We have many

cards available and can customize to your needs: Tropical, Puerto Rican, or Holiday-themed.
