Day 1: Fly from Ireland to Vancouver and Stay 1 Pre Cruise night at the Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel. Explore one of Vancouver's many parks, including a rainforest, immerse yourself in North America's second largest Chinatown or marvel at majestic sea life at the Vancouver Aquarium. Day 2: If you have a few hours to spare before your cruise to Alaska on board Grand Princess take a trip to Robson Street, where shopping and dining are the main attractions. It's the ideal place to pick up last-minute cruise provisions: sunglasses, bathing suits or something fancy for luxe, on-ship dining. Day 3: With an atmosphere of comfortable elegance, tantalising dining options and dazzling entertainment, you’re Sea day on board Grand Princess will be anything but ordinary. Relax at The Sanctuary, a tranquil haven reserved for adults, enjoy Movies Under the Stars® poolside or experience something new with our Discovery at SEA enrichment programs. Day 4: Ketchikan is known as Alaska's "First City" because it's the first major community travellers come to as they journey north. You will be intrigued by its rich Native heritage, which includes the world's oldest collection of totem poles at Totem Heritage Centre. The Haida, Tlingit and Tsimshian are all a part of the city's colourful history. Ketchikan, with its abundance of salmon, is also a sport fishing paradise. Sightseers will be impressed with both the scenic town and its surroundings, especially Misty Fjords National Monument. Day 5: Juneau is famous not only for gold and government but also for its breathtakingly beautiful glaciers and stunning views of both water and mountains. Meet professional mushers and their amazing canine companions in an introduction to Alaska's state sport Dog Sledding. Take a flight to a glacier to experience flying over the snow, or visit the summertime training grounds for a ride in a wheeled sled. Day 6: Skagway was the gateway to the gold fields for the thousands who flocked to Alaska and the Yukon with the hope of striking it rich. Relive the colour and history of the Yukon Gold Rush. Tour the camps, pan for gold and meet a few costumed characters who'll show you what life was like during the boom-town days in the 1800s. Day 7: Princess Cruises are one of a select few cruise lines permitted to cruise the pristine waters of Glacier Bay, the highlight of your 7- day Voyage of the Glaciers cruise. During your scenic cruise, friendly Park Rangers will join the ship to share their knowledge of this amazing place they may even be able to help you identify Glacier Bay's abundant wildlife. Take in the awe-inspiring scenery as you enjoy an unforgettable day of sailing through this dazzling park, where you'll glide along emerald waters and past calving icebergs, and breathe in the crisp, fresh air to your heart's content. Day 8: College Fjord not only boasts the world's largest collection of tidewater glaciers, but it features magnificent snow-capped mountains as far as the eyes can see. Plus, during the summer, it's not unheard of to catch a glimpse of one of the area's 40-ton humpback whales feeding in the waters of the fjord. Day 9: Step off your ship into a waiting railcar for your exclusive Direct-to-the-Wilderness same-day rail service to Talkeetna, then on to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. Get settled, and perhaps enjoy an optional afternoon excursion. The 20,320 Alaskan Bar & Grill is the perfect place for a relaxed dinner to end your first day in the Denali area. Day 10: This morning you depart on a scenic motor coach ride to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge at the doorstep of Denali National Park. You're treated to an afternoon Natural History Tour to learn more about the flora and fauna of the area before returning to the lodge. Tonight, opt for the lively "Music of Denali" dinner theatre, a great introduction to the region's culture and history. Day 11: You'll have the morning to relax, then travel by scenic motor coach to Fairbanks. This afternoon, take a Riverboat Cruise down the Chena River. You'll get to experience Gold Rush history, Native culture and colourful Alaska lifestyle of bush pilots, dog sledder’s and Native artisans. Stay overnight at a Fairbanks Hotel. Day 12: Your tour ends this morning in Fairbanks spend the day at leisure before your evening flight from Fairbanks to Seattle. Stay 1 night at the Edgewater Seattle Hotel.
