Let it be known that this week marked the resurgence of Solana. Where others have continually condemned 

the chain, the committed figured out a way to bring passion and euphoria back. Hence, this issue has a few 

BONK articles to bring you up to speed with WHAT you need to know and how to deal with $bonk. TLDR it's a 

token that the Solana ecosystem should embrace rather than treat as 'just another shitcoin'. 

One of the best things to emerge this week was 0xBanana's marketplace. A slick interface, an array of art 

to peruse, and talk about cheap entry prices! 0xBanana has been a longtime supporter, developer, and 

spokesperson for Solana. Definitely worth a visit. You will definitely find a piece that you will want to collect! 

Another longtime supporter of the Solana space is Barndog. Regularly included in #SHILLzine, Barndog reviews 

Solana games via his Youtube channel. When you think about Solana, it's not just about NFT and art. It's the 

whole ecosystem. We should embrace and support the space whichever way we can, and if it's via a simple 

VIEW of a YouTube or a LIKE on and artist's post, every little bit helps. 

The other side of this is perhaps the dark side of the ecosystem. A group of end-users whose sole puprose is to 

profit- not support. Genesysgo nft lockup round just finished and the dumpening was harsh. From a 30Sol floor 

price to 15! The dumpers collected their $SHDW token for lockup and proceeded to dump their NFTs with no 

consideration for the project. Likewise, projectX had $Bonk locked while $Bonk was cruising along. Once the 

unlock happened projectX holders dumped hard dropping the price by 50%. ProjectY will unlock soon, I expect 

the same results. 

By the time #SHILLzine launches this weekend, DAMfutures will have launched. Shoutout to CultureHacker and 

LowbrowNative who continually work at supporting the Solana space. NFTs under the #DAMfutures tag are 

listed on exchangeArt and Formfunction at bargain prices. An excellent entry point for all readers to consider.

This time last year we were deep into the launch of 

$SHDW! 2022 was a crazy ride for #Solana, #crypto, 

#NFTs, and our team in general! Tomorrow marks the 

bonus unlocks for the SSC NFTs that have been staked 

for 365 consecutive days as well. What’s next? Let’s set 

some context. 

A lot of #Solana tokens do everything they can to limit 

circulating value. They live in mortal fear of full dilution. 

Basically, looking at any super high supply token. We 

took a different route, $SHDW has a small total supply 

and we actively want to be fully diluted asap. Why? 

Because this is when true discovery happens. All the 

hype and/or FUD is stripped away full dilution removes 

so many unknown factors and quantities that can only 

be guessed at. So, what do you do in the case of $SHDW 

where there is a huge unlock coming? Easy, you BUIDL. 

The GenesysGo team has several goals over the course 

of 2023. 2022 was largely a foundation building year. 

In a lot of ways, things like $SHDW Drive and our 

decentralized #Solana RPC network were less of a proof 

of concept as it pertains to tech and more a PoC of our 

team. 

For instance, $SHDW Drive was a fresh take on #web3 

decentralized storage native to the #Solana ecosystem. 

Since it’s deployment six months ago Shdw Drive has 

stored over 7TB of data and provides a user experience 

that is VASTLY superior to other web3 storage solutions. 

While building $SHDW Cloud, ended up building our 

own custom consensus mechanism (DAGGER). We are 

still in the process of really exploring its capabilities but 

its speed and capability to handle large data structures 

is turning out to be surprising even to us! 

However, everything we’ve built thus far is super 

technical and is deep developer stuff. And while the 

possible use cases for DAGGER (think mobile networks, 

AI, machine learning, gaming) powered by $SHDW are 

seemingly limitless, sometimes you just need to have 

some fun. 

Which is why we’re deploying a v2 for the Shadowy 

Super Coder #SolanaNFTs! One of our biggest goals in 

2023 is to bring the SSC NFT and $SHDW into closer 

alignment and use that combination to make our 

community more accessible and friendly to the broader 

#Solana ecosystem. 

In the near future all SSC #NFT holders will have the 

ability to use $SHDW to upgrade their existing SSC to 

the new v2 version. The first thing you’ll notice about 

the SSC v2 is the high fidelity top tier artwork and how 

incredibly pfp friendly it is. Previews coming soon! 

Now here’s the cool part #Solana fam... When upgraded 

all SSC v2 #NFTs will look identical. Your coder and the 

traits are veiled in the shadows... Traits aren’t randomly 

assigned for SSC v2 however, instead holders use 

$SHDW to unlock and customize the traits of their NFT! 

Yep... that’s right... the look and feel of your SSC #NFT is 

fully in your control and can be changed at any time as 

many times as the holder desires! As a part of upgrading, 

v2 holders gain access to a marketplace of traits to 

unlock and build their trait inventory using $SHDW. 

Every time a v2 holder unlocks new traits for their SSC 

#NFT the $SHDW used to unlock that trait is burned and 

the NFT now has that trait unlocked and attached to it 

forever (with some exceptions, more on that below). 

Burn SHDW to unlock traits and give yourself more 

options! 

v2 holders can burn $SHDW to roll the dice on trait loot 

boxes with random traits inside or burn an additional 

amount of SHDW to instead unlock the exact trait that 

they’re looking for. We’ve built a mgmt. portal where 

holders can try different trait combos as well! 

Some traits will be able to be unlocked by any number of 

v2 holders, for example... maybe a generic black hoodie. 

Other traits will only ever exist on a finite amount of 

NFTs. Example, after 100 holders have burned $SHDW 

to unlock a “Frank’s Feet” trait no one else can. 

Side note... yes... that’s a real thing... if you’re a #Solana 

community member who doesn’t own an SSC and 

you’re confused it’s because you’ve missed out on a 

year of SSC holders peer pressuring me to mint pics

of my feet... Fair warning, it’ll take a lot of $SHDW to 

unlock them. 

Eventually, we plan to release animation traits that can 

be unlocked and upgraded 3D artwork (the upcoming 

redesign is going to be a 2D/3D hybrid) but that’ll be in 

future iterations. The final form of the SSC and $SHDW 

mashup will see holders being able to upload custom 

traits. 

We want to give holders the ability to design, then 

burn $SHDW to upload their design, and empower 

them to either equip the trait themselves or sell it on 

the trait marketplace. Let’s talk about rarity. The base 

v2 effectively sets all rarities to zero bc no traits are 

assigned. 

Given that you’ll be able to trustlessly mix, match, and 

change the look of your SSC #NFT anytime you want via 

our smart contracts, that means that the overall rarity 

of your SSC is based on the traits you’ve unlocked by 

burning $SHDW. The gamification of rarity is going to 

be huge. 

It means that you, the holder, have an element of control 

over how rare or not rare your SSC #NFT is. Your NFT 

could suddenly skyrocket in value because you unlocked 

a super rare trait and that moved you from #3536 to like 

#7 on the rarity scale. 

Or, maybe you’re a member of both monkeDAO and the 

SSC community and you’re not sure which pfp to rock 

so the #Solana ecosystem knows where you belong. 

We got you fam! Unlock monkeDAO theme traits that 

would require you to own an SMB to be able to unlock 

and rep both communities! 

Uh oh... you sold your SMB? Sorry, but that trait is for 

monkeDAO holders only and so it would be restricted 

until a SMB was present in the wallet again. However, 

if you sold your SSC to someone who has a monkeDAO 

NFT in their wallet then that trait would become active 

again. 

So, if you’ve ever been super disappointed because you 

minted a #Solana #NFT and your trait combination was 

absolutely horrible then have no fear! While you may 

prefer to rock a less rare set of traits because they look 

cool all of your super rare traits are still attached to your 

NFT. 

Meaning, you can create a positive impact on the value 

of your SSC v2 #NFT simply because you have a really 

deep inventory. Meanwhile, $SHDW is being burned 

and therefore an increase in the supply of traits directly 

contributes to a decrease in the overall SHDW supply. 

As I had written back in December, our biggest goal is 

to create something that integrates SHDW and the SSC 

NFT more closely again but more importantly to create 

something that’s fun for the community to play with 

and makes them proud to own and show off. 

We think this will be a fun first step towards our team’s 

biggest goal for 2023, which is to enhance and expand 

the SSC community within #Solana and make it much 

more robust by creating new ways for people to enter 

and learn about the $SHDW ecosystem via the SSC #NFT. 

We’re viewing SSC v2 as an on ramp of sorts to expose 

people to what GenesysGo is all about, what we do, and 

how we do it. We realize that so much of our work isn’t 

the most fun stuff out there if you’re not a developer. We 

spent 2022 laying one foundation. Now, we lay another. 

Growing, enhancing, and merging the $SHDW and SSC 

#NFT communities going to be vital for SHDW’s long 

term success and we think this will go a long way towards 

achieving that goal. Plus, it’ll just be plain fun! 

We’re a minimum of 4-8 weeks out on the artwork and 

we have no intention of rushing. We have engaged with a 

top tier production studio (the same stupid who did our 

graphical redesign actually) and based on the examples 

we’ve seen of their work they are worth every penny! 

The good news is that the artwork is the closest thing 

to a bottleneck since the codebase for what happens 

behind the scenes has been being worked on for months 

and is more or less finished. 

Over the coming weeks we’ll be releasing sneak peeks, 

mood board examples, and finalizing the product 

experience we want to provide. In the meantime, holders 

of “virgin” SSCs (SSCs that have never been staked) can 

look forward to some special totally unique traits! 

We also know many members of our community received 

their $SHDW emissions from their SSC #NFT and, being 

the true believers they are, never sold. We have plans to 

ensure that wallets holding the specific tokens emitted 

to them by the staking contract will receive love as well! 

That’s it for now! We’re very excited about this endeavor 

as it not only creates a new fun use case for $SHDW but 

the SSC platform is one we plan to build and expand on 

in order to keep driving demand for newer, cooler, and 

more cutting edge upgrades to your #NFTs! 

We’re also exploring what it would take to allow other 

projects to use $SHDW in order to tap into our platform 

and provide their own #NFT collection the ability to have 

custom user controlled traits. Customization as a Service 

powered by $SHDW? Has a nice ring to it.

So many salty people...fact is the answers were 

right in front of your face. This project wasn’t a 

random group of guys who wanted to make a name 

for themselves, so they launched a token...it was 

the opposite. A team of community members who 

have long established reputations and BROAD 

networks came together to create something they 

want to keep their name off as to not detract from 

the intent. A coin for the community. Airdropped 

broadly albeit not perfectly. I stand to deliver on its 

goals. Why did I ape so hard? 

Easy every model of Web3 I have worked through 

comes down to being the lowest friction model to 

achieve an intended result. This goes back to 0 

technical infrastructure. No voting, no debates, no 

fighting in discord for hours. Only one model works 

and it’s the collaborative system where trust is not 

even a question it’s a given. One where intents 

are never questioned, they are known because 

the collaborators know each other very closely. 

They know with a 90% certainty how the group will 

respond thus they dont need a vote or poll they 

can just act. 

This is through small independent groups maybe 

10-30 people. These groups then will work as an 

individual unit in the Solana ecosystem, cohesive 

and aligned to common goals and values. As 

people may be parts of many of these groups, they 

will know common goals and missions and pull their 

other groups together when their interests/goals/ 

visions align. All this self-policed via reputation. 

Loss of your reputation in one of these groups may 

have you removed...and struggle to find a new 

one. But when you scale this model, you create a 

never-ending web of collaborative groups...this is 

Web3. 

No leaders, no centralized governance only social 

governance between people and these groups. 

So why $BONK...the team is one of these small 

groups of 10-30 people. And likewise, I have a few 

small groups of 10-30 people and even though I am 

not part of that team our visions align...so I support 

them and the $BONK vision as if it was my own. 

These groups can choose to use SOL however 

many recognize that we got FUCKED because we 

relied on a token built by someone else. We are 

DONE with that. 

WE will control the means of exchange that we use. 

And I want others to embrace it as well because 

when we control this, we can influence not just the 

token, but we can self-police all users of via culture 

and social norms. 

Burning is an example of this. It was established 

to reward the early adopters and users as a 

deflationary supply means those who buy in later 

(when they realize they need to) will pay a premium. 

And by holding each other to it we can make the VC 

and institutions who got cheap Sol and FUCKED 

US on this downturn buy in at a premium like they 

made us. We put the RISK on them...not us. 

We can force them to care about the Macroeconomics 

of $BONK because they have RISK they need to 

manage. This is where the community takes back 

the chain because it can’t scale without a growing 

community and like all social systems ultimately, 

we control it IF we choose to take that control. Join 

me in this new meta where we will have influence in 

this chain we hold so dearly and close to our hearts. 

Where we have made countless friends many who 

are basically family. 

This is the future of Solana @aeyakovenko @ 

rajgokal @Austin_Federa and it will be a Web3 

society built on $BONK

Project What is the Blue chill? I can’t say it as well as @ARCE4SOL can say it. I call it your all-in-one place for Solana if you 

only got 5-10 minutes per day to be up to date. 

Is it a news site? Yes and no. It isn’t only a news site.

Yes, you will find news, but you will also find alpha, project reviews, tool reviews, wl opportunities and so on. 

There are possibilities for so much on there. The best part for you? You can earn money! You can send your posts, 

they will get curated and you earn money. 

This isn’t enough for you? The Henchmen got a good community. You earn points from being active on discord

The project so far 

I joined the discord in May. Since then, we saw weird stuff in the 

crypto and also nft market, but the henchmen walked their path. 

Besides organically growing the discord and twitter there were several 

happenings.

from the space. As far as I know, they were recorded so if you are

There was the pre-mint - 555 pieces for which you get

do on-chain breeding. You sent two rugs and in return 

got a NFT, which granted WL for the pre mint. 

Afterwards pre-mint contract holders were able to use 

the cheese sniper and have access to the trader dashboard 

from parrot tools. There also is a collab with degencoinflip.

This Tuesday, the price of Solana (SOL) increased by more than 17% after developers airdropped 

the Solana-based Bonk token to Solana users. However, the Solana coin has since 

cooled off, trading at $12.98, down 2.40% in the past 24 hours.

Despite the fanfare surrounding its dog currency, Solana’s fate is still questionable despite a minor 

comeback. Many factors have contributed to Solana’s recent volatility. One of its most notable supporters 

is the former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, and several essential NFT projects intend to quit its 

network. 

Solana has started the new year off very well, and the price reflects that. I believe that the SOL price only 

has one way to go from here, and that way is up, banking on the Bonk token hype.

The new cryptocurrency Bonk Inu (BONK), a dog-themed meme coin that operates on the Solana

will take place between January 13th and January 23rd. This project will bring nearly 25 teams to part of 

the Solana ecosystem as sponsors of 20 tracks, be it DeFi, Mobile, Sports betting, etc. Moreover, LamportDAO 

and Helius Labs will organize it. 

Some notable teams are Phantom, Open Book DEX, Solana Foundation Eclipse, and many more! The 

hackathon will be done virtually with no registration required; The Sandstorm Hackathon has been met 

with positive comments from the Solana community, as they most eagerly await the fresh new ideas

4. NFT 

Magic Eden Resolves Fake NFT 

One of the main draws of powerful platforms like OpenSea and Magic Eden is the safety precautions 

they take to ensure that only validated items may be offered. Unfortunately, during this week, it was discovered 

that several unverified NFTs were being sold in 4 collections on Magic Eden. When a problem 

like that occurs, it puts a bad image on a platform. 

Magic Eden was alerted quickly of this issue and, in a Tweet, stated that they would refund every 

individual who has purchased these fake NFTs. According to Magic Eden, an isolated UI bug caused the 

NFTs not to be verified, the problem has now been resolved, and it will not happen again.
