A jelen embere úgy él, mintha nem lenne holnap. 1970 óta egyre kevesebb idő ala
fogyasztjuk el az egy évre elegendő erőforrás-adagunkat, tavaly már ez fél év ala
megtörtént. Ha mindenki így élne, akkor 2,5 Földre lenne szükségünk, hogy fedezze
mindazt az energiaigényt, amit felhasználunk.
Az idei év témája a “Föld Kincsei”. Nem a divat mia választouk ezt a témát, hanem
mert a Mystic Nails-nél tisztában vagyunk vele, hogy milyen felelősségünk van -
nemcsak most, de a gyermekeink jövője szempontjából is. Szeretnénk majd azt mondani
nekik, hogy igen, mi mindent megteünk azért, hogy egy tisztább, zöldebb Föld legyen az
övék. Mit teszünk mi ezért? Először is semmilyen termékünket nem teszteljük állatokon,
ehhez ragaszkodunk! Régi nagy álmunk vált valóra tavaly az Állatok világnapján, amikor
bejelenteük, hogy az alapanyagaink 96%-a vegán le, azaz semmilyen állati eredetű
anyagot nem tartalmaznak.
Óriási innovációnk volt nemrégiben, amikor bevezeük az Öko reszelőt, amely több
száz kilónyi műanyag szeméől óvhatja meg a környezetet. Eközben a csomagolásnál is
kiemelt figyelmet kapo a környezetvédelem: a kedvenc termékeidet újrafelhasznált
papírból készült dobozokba csomagoljuk, melyhez papíralapú ragasztót, és lebomló
térkitöltőt használunk. A Mystic Nails dolgozói számára is kiemelten fontos az
környezeudatosság: legtöbben biciklivel járnak munkába, szelekven gyűjtik a szemetet
és újrahasznosítható papírra nyomtatnak az irodában.
Nem utolsósorban pedig ez a Katalógus, amelyet a kezedben tartasz, FSC papír
felhasználásával készült, amely azt jelenti, hogy a fa, amelyből a papír készült
környezeudatos, felelős erdőgazdálkodásból származik.

The man of today lives as if there were no tomorrow. Since 1970, we have been using up
our one year’s supply of resources in less and less time, and last year we did it in half a year.
If everyone lived like this, we would need 2.5 Earths to cover all the energy we use.
This year’s theme is „Earth’s Treasures”. We have chosen this theme not because it is
fashionable, but because at Mystic Nails we are aware of our responsibility - not just
now, but for the future of our children. We want to say to them that yes, we have done our
best to create a cleaner, greener Earth for them. And what are we doing about it? First of
all, we insist on not tesng any of our products on animals! Last year, on World Animal
Day, we fulfilled a long-held dream when we announced that 96% of our ingredients were
vegan, meaning they contain no animal ingredients.
We had a huge innovation recently when we introduced the Eco File, which saves
the environment hundreds of kilos of plastic waste. Meanwhile, we’ve also made the
environment a priority in our packaging: your favourite products are packaged in boxes
made from recycled paper, using paper-based adhesives and degradable fillers.
Eco-consciousness is also a priority for Mystic Nails employees: most of them cycle to
work, collect rubbish separately and print on recyclable paper in the office.
And last but not least, this Catalogue you are holding in your hand is made of FSC paper,
which means that the wood from which the paper is made of comes from responsibly
managed forests.
