I wanted to place my vessel back into the landscape to immerse the piece within textures I was initially inspired by.

Stitching live at the

Manchester Art Fair

To create my vessel, I layered panels of different fabrics, then stitched mixed media, (shoelaces and pipe cleaners) as the t rees, then used

heat manipulation to create texture of the leaves and earth, then embellished using french knots.


Stencilling and printing

Using my stencils to experiment with spray painting

onto my fabric that has been transferred using a

printer 15x13

Layered cotton sample, by making stencils using a glue

gun, then using fabric spray paint to print, and then
