<strong>November</strong> is my favorite month! It includes endless opportunies to<br />
express your thankfulness, the humidity drops, the ancipaon of<br />
Christmas and the new year are felt and of course the enre month<br />
leads up to food!<br />
We are thankful for every person that walks through the door of the<br />
chamber office and most definitely grateful for geng to call Lake<br />
Placid “home”.<br />
Thank you to the volunteers, our Board of Directors, members,<br />
businesses and friends that make coming to work everyday a delight.<br />
We appreciate serving our community along with you!<br />

Nearly 20,000 people live with food insecurity in Highlands County. Seniors, children, working families,<br />
and Veterans are struggling and need your help. Heartland Food Bank supplies the food that more than<br />
