Message from the Association Manager<br />

“Hello <strong>Waterford</strong> <strong>Park</strong> Neighbors. It is crazy that we are already close to<br />

the end of another year. We know this season is busy for everyone. Family<br />

Thanksgiving gatherings, Christmas shopping, New Year’s Resolutions, you<br />

name it. It is our hope that in the middle of all the craziness, you can always<br />

go home to a great community. As your managing agent, this is our goal. We<br />

strive to maintain the community in a way that makes everyone proud to be<br />

a <strong>Waterford</strong> <strong>Park</strong> Homeowner. Of course, as a homeowner, we know the<br />

work that you put in to contribute to this goal, whether it be maintaining<br />

your property, paying your dues on time, and communicating your concerns<br />

and observations. For that, we are grateful for the role you play. And even<br />

more, FirstService Residential is grateful to serve your community.”<br />

Events<br />

December 16th will be the Annual Christmas Walk and Parade<br />

of Lights! Be on the lookout for more information coming soon.<br />

Bi-Annual Assessments<br />

$550 due in January and again in July<br />

To ensure the association remains adequately funded, the Board<br />

has approved an increase to the 2023 assessments. The new<br />

assessment amount will be $550 semi-annually, or $1100 per year,<br />

an increase of $60 annually, or approximately 5.5%. The billing cycle<br />

for assessments will not change, and the increase will be effective for<br />

the January 1, 2023 due date. You should receive a statement in the<br />

mail in December, in which this new amount will be reflected. This<br />

increase is mandatory and uniform for all <strong>Waterford</strong> <strong>Park</strong> residents.<br />

We understand an increase in assessments is not favorable, but it is<br />

necessary to protect the funds of the association against inflation,<br />

rising costs of services, and increases to the association’s contracts<br />

over the years, some of which have risen by as much as 10%.<br />

Reminders<br />

If you have not yet, we recommend updating your gate clickers to the new RFID hang tags or<br />

stickers. The gate clickers are old technology and once they stop working, they cannot be fixed.<br />

Gate clickers can be exchanged for a new hang tag or sticker free of charge, and additional devices<br />

are $50 each. Contact Customer Care at 877.378.2388 to update your device.<br />

Please remove Christmas decorations within 10 days after the new year.<br />

your home, an ACC approval is required before work can<br />

begin. This includes, but is not limited to, fences, pools,<br />

retaining walls, landscaping, tree replacement, painting,<br />

staining, and other projects. Failure to follow the process<br />

will result in compliance actions. ACC submissions are<br />
