Ian McFarlane
Big Adventure Productions
Ian is a London based theatre maker and producer of
Big Adventure Productions. He has worked across the
UK as a writer, director, choreographer and producer.
Ian’s most recent work includes the premiere of Forever Oz, a new play based
on the Oz books by L. Frank Baum at the OSO Arts Centre, London in February
2022. He followed this with The Revellers Society, an immersive cabaret show
that began life in 2020.
In 2021, Ian remounted Around The World In 80s Days, at the Blackpool Grand
Theatre. He originally wrote and directed the show, as part of the venue’s 125th
birthday celebrations, in 2019. He also toured The Revellers Society (2020/2021)
and directed The Further Adventures of Peter Pan, at the Bournemouth Pavilion
(2021) Infants tour (2021).
His other work as director and writer includes Betwixt! (Trafalgar Studios)

Laurie was awarded the 2017 Gillian Lynne Choreography Award
whilst at GSA, and has composed and arranged a variety of musicals
both during GSA and subsequently. Laurie is thrilled to be returning
to South Mill Arts after taking on the role of Arranger and Musical
Director for their pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty in
2019 and performing in The Revellers Society in 2020.
Etta Williams - Jill/Creature

Matthew Kellett - Dame Trott
Matt has toured the UK extensively, most often with The National Gilbert
and Sullivan Opera Company and Charles Court Opera, performing lead
roles in the works of Gilbert and Sullivan including: Sgt of Police (The Pirates
of Penzance), Giuseppe (The Gondoliers), Robin Oakapple (Ruddigore),
Strephon (Iolanthe) and Dick Deadeye (Charles Courts Opera’s HMS
Pinafore - winner ‘best opera’ - Offies 2020) among many others.
In panto, Matt has performed for many seasons at The King’s Head Theatre
in Islington, most recently in the title role of Beowulf (winner ‘best panto’ -
Offies 2022). Previous panto appearances include: Buttons (Buttons:
Another Cinderella Story), Joe Christmas (The Nativity Panto), El Tabasco
(Pinocchio) & all seven of Snow White’s Dwarfs (Mirror Mirror).
Matt has also appeared in roles at Opera Holland Park, Wexford Festival
Opera, the Iford Arts Festival, understudied at Music Theatre Wales and
performed on BBC Radios 3 & 4. He trained at the Royal Northern College
of Music and Trinity College of Music, where he was awarded the silver
medal for vocal studies.
Oliver Mawdsley - Simple Simon Trott/Georgie Porgie/Creature
Oliver trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Dalmatians, & A Christmas Carol (New Vic Theatre), Miss Nightingale

Alastair Hill - The Crooked Man/Wee Willie Winkie
Alastair graduated from the University of Warwick in 2012 and
went on to complete an MA in Musical Theatre at Guildford School
of Acting. He has toured the UK with all versions of Dreamboats
and Petticoats amongst tours of Saturday Night Fever and Iolanthe.
He has badly missed panto for the last two years, and has spent much
of the last few years in the Pharmacy Department of Great Ormond
Street Hospital.

Gareth Howard studied at The Royal Welsh College of Music and
Drama as the recipient of The Ian Fleming Musical Theatre award.
