Ian McFarlane<br />

Big Adventure Productions<br />

Ian is a London based theatre maker <strong>and</strong> producer of<br />

Big Adventure Productions. He has worked across the<br />

UK as a writer, director, choreographer <strong>and</strong> producer.<br />

Ian’s most recent work includes the premiere of Forever Oz, a new play based<br />

on the Oz books by L. Frank Baum at the OSO Arts Centre, London in February<br />

<strong>2022</strong>. He followed this with <strong>The</strong> Revellers Society, an immersive cabaret show<br />

that began life in 2020.<br />

In 2021, Ian remounted Around <strong>The</strong> World In 80s Days, at the Blackpool Gr<strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>The</strong>atre. He originally wrote <strong>and</strong> directed the show, as part of the venue’s 125th<br />

birthday celebrations, in 2019. He also toured <strong>The</strong> Revellers Society (2020/2021)<br />

<strong>and</strong> directed <strong>The</strong> Further Adventures of Peter Pan, at the Bournemouth Pavilion<br />

(2021) Infants tour (2021).<br />

His other work as director <strong>and</strong> writer includes Betwixt! (Trafalgar Studios)<br />

to South Mill Arts after taking on the role of Arranger <strong>and</strong> Musical<br />

Matthew Kellett - Dame Trott<br />

Matt has toured the UK extensively, most often with <strong>The</strong> National Gilbert<br />

<strong>and</strong> Sullivan Opera Company <strong>and</strong> Charles Court Opera, performing lead<br />

roles in the works of Gilbert <strong>and</strong> Sullivan including: Sgt of Police (<strong>The</strong> Pirates<br />

of Penzance), Giuseppe (<strong>The</strong> Gondoliers), Robin Oakapple (Ruddigore),<br />

Strephon (Iolanthe) <strong>and</strong> Dick Deadeye (Charles Courts Opera’s HMS<br />

Pinafore - winner ‘best opera’ - Offies 2020) among many others.<br />

In panto, Matt has performed for many seasons at <strong>The</strong> King’s Head <strong>The</strong>atre<br />

in Islington, most recently in the title role of Beowulf (winner ‘best panto’ -<br />

Offies <strong>2022</strong>). Previous panto appearances include: Buttons (Buttons:<br />

Another Cinderella Story), Joe Christmas (<strong>The</strong> Nativity Panto), El Tabasco<br />

(Pinocchio) & all seven of Snow White’s Dwarfs (Mirror Mirror).<br />

Matt has also appeared in roles at Opera Holl<strong>and</strong> Park, Wexford Festival<br />

Opera, the Iford Arts Festival, understudied at Music <strong>The</strong>atre Wales <strong>and</strong><br />

performed on BBC Radios 3 & 4. He trained at the Royal Northern College<br />

of Music <strong>and</strong> Trinity College of Music, where he was awarded the silver<br />

medal for vocal studies.<br />

Oliver Mawdsley - Simple Simon Trott/Georgie Porgie/Creature<br />

Oliver trained at the Royal Central School of Speech <strong>and</strong> Drama.<br />

Alastair Hill - <strong>The</strong> Crooked Man/Wee Willie Winkie<br />

Alastair graduated from the University of Warwick in 2012 <strong>and</strong><br />

went on to complete an MA in Musical <strong>The</strong>atre at Guildford School<br />

of Acting. He has toured the UK with all versions of Dreamboats<br />

<strong>and</strong> Petticoats amongst tours of Saturday Night Fever <strong>and</strong> Iolanthe.<br />

He has badly missed panto for the last two years, <strong>and</strong> has spent much<br />

of the last few years in the Pharmacy Department of Great Ormond<br />

Street Hospital.<br />
