MODULE 5:
30 PILOT IN COMMAND
(PIC) FLYING HOURS
These are 30 additional hours of timebuilding
flying trips, including 10 hours
accompanied by a backup pilot at no
extra cost.
MODULE 6:
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE AND
UPSET PREVENTION AND RECOVERY
TRAINING (CPL TRAINING AND UPRT)
In this module, the training to obtain the Commercial Pilot
License (CPL) continues. Here, the student performs 15 hours of
visual flight in the P2006T. At this point, they have accrued 21
hours of flying experience and 40 hours of simulator
experience, so they’ll be very familiar with the aircraft operation.
The goal of this part of the training is that the student becomes
a commercial pilot, which means they will learn to fly with the
notion of passengers on board. Passengers must be briefed and
guided – also in emergencies, which take up a significant part
of this module. CPL training concludes with a skill test to obtain
the CPL. Upon approval of the skill test, you receive a CPL
certificate, which is the commercial pilot license.
UPRT flight training
The UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) is the final
part of this module. This EASA-required certificate is mandatory
for all pilots trained after 2018. Here The aircraft used is the
military aerobatic trainer Zlin-242. You will fly with an aerobatic
instructor who will take you through your passes. First, the
instructor will demonstrate the maneuvers, then instruct you,
and finally monitor you doing it yourself.
