RF was pleased to sponsor the recent Cable Bahamas event that was designed to enlighten, empower,
and equip women and girls to face the ever-evolving challenges of womanhood in today’s corporate
world. AVP of Operations, Jackie Cleare represented RF at the event's press launch, and Securities
Advisor, Tishrea Johnson, hosted an exhibit booth at the main event.

INVESTOR WEEK 2022
RF teamed up with the Bahamas International
Securities Exchange (BISX) to celebrate World
Investor Week (WIW) during the week of October 10th
- 14th.
During the week, RF & BISX provided expert advice
and guidance in helping people start their investing
journey. Financial Analyst, Nevin Knowles, appeared in
one of the featured video segments that highlighted
the importance of diversity in investing. A Brunch and
Learn event was also held during the week which gave
local influencers an opportunity to learn about
investing and share what they learned on their social
media channels.
Other events featured during the week were a live
appearance on Star FM, and a LIVE Q&A session with
RF and BISX experts on Friday, October 14th. You can

CARIBHR FORUM
In September, RF VP of Pension Services, Cleora
Farquharson, was a guest presenter at the 2022
CaribHR Forum, under the topic "From Hire to Retire:
The EVP Game Changer". The virtual event was
broadcasted in Barbados and across the Caribbean.

RF HR LEADERSHIP FORUM
This annual pension event took place on October 18th at Baha Mar under the theme, "Shaped by Fire."
Cleora was one of the presenters, speaking on the topic, "From Hire to Retire: The Employee Value
Proposition Game Changer."
The forum was well attended and there was tons of participation from the audience. A special thanks
to the pension team for helping to put on another successful event!

RF CAYMAN LAUNCH EVENT
RF officially launched its Cayman business with an exclusive wine-tasting event on October 6th.
The long-awaited event marked the official name change of the Fidelity Pension Plan to the RF Pension
Plan and the launch of the latest RF product, RF Global Invest. With this product, investors can benefit
from eight new strategies that allow for diversification across asset classes and global markets.

RF NATIONAL DISTINGUISHED
TEACHER AWARDS
The annual RFNDTA opened for nominations in September with activations in local shopping malls.
During these times, persons were invited to nominate their favourite teacher to win a range of prizes
and a spot on the RFNDTA Wall of Fame.
119 nominations were received at the close of the nominations period. The Blue Ribbon panel of
Judges have already begun shortlisting nominees. Winners will be announced Q1 2023.

DISRUPT HR
Davvida Richards, Administrator at RF Barbados, took the stage last month at the annual DisruptHR
event. The event targets HR Professionals throughout the Caribbean giving them strategies and
insights that impact their profession. Team RF also hosted a booth. Check out some of the highlights

Community Giving
RF BOOK DRIVE
A special thanks to all team members that
supported the RF Book Drive recently. We
collected tons of gently used and new books
that will be donated to Urban Renewal in
partnership with the Brighter Bahamas
Foundation.

special thanks to the event organizers,
Karen Major & Patrick Ferguson!
THE CR WALKER GREEN HOUSE PROJECT
RF recently sponsored a greenhouse for C. R. Walker High School which will be used in the school’s
project-based learning model to educate students on agriculture and environmental topics. The
greenhouse was dedicated on October 14th.

Community Giving
WALK FOR THE CURE
RF was well represented in the recent FCIB Walk for the Cure event held on October 1st. The proceeds of
the event went to help support the fight against various forms of cancer. Team RF successfully
completed the nearly 5-mile walk with a guest earning the fastest time in her category!
Way to go, Team!
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Team RF wore pink every Friday in October in recognition of Cancer Awareness Month. A special
thanks to team members who supported this initiative by purchasing shirts. Proceeds were donated
to the Cancer Society of The Bahamas.

MEMBER OF THE MONTH!
This month we celebrate another Dynamic member of Team RF, Riesha
Turnquest!
Riesha Turnquest
Treasury Administrator
RF Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Limited
Riesha Turnquest began her journey at RF Bank & Trust in July 2022 as the
RF Intern for Operations. During this time, she gained firsthand experience in
the Treasury Administration role and functions of the Operations
Department. As she learned more, her interest and love for what she did,
grew even more. She seized the opportunity to apply for an available fulltime
position as a Treasury Administrator, Operations Department, and
became a full-time member of Team RF on September 12, 2022.
Riesha recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration
degree from Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, CA. In her spare
time, she enjoys reading, swimming, travelling, and baking. She holds the
core values of Equity, Faith, Ambition and Compassion.
Her life’s mission is to live a balanced life and add value wherever she
goes.

The month of March began with our inaugural
launch of RFVERSITY.
What is RFVERSITY?
RFVersity is the official learning and development
platform at RF powered by Travitor. The platform
hosts Self-Learning and Training Events that all
Team Members can subscribe to and earn points
for their learning and participation.
What company requirements do I have to
fulfil at RFVERSITY?
The Company requires both Team Members and
Team Leaders to earn a minimum of 2000
Learning Points per annum (Jan 1-Dec 31).
Learning points will be factored into the annual
performance and compensation review.
