Task: Add <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> into <strong>you</strong>r cooking/baking/dessert-making<br />

Recipe 1: <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> Jellies<br />

Ingredients:<br />

1 cup <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

1½ teaspoon agar powder (vegan gelatin alternative)<br />

4 teaspoon honey<br />

3 drop Grapefruit Essential Oil Flavoring<br />

3 drop Lime Essential Oil Flavoring<br />

Silicon mold<br />

Instructions:<br />

• Combine <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong>, agar powder, and honey<br />

in a saucepan. Mix with a metal spoon until<br />

fully dissolved and heat on medium high.<br />

• Once boiling, remove from heat immediately<br />

and stir in the essential oil flavorings.<br />

Taste for sweetness. The mixture should be<br />

almost too sweet, since the flavors will mellow<br />

during cooling.<br />

• Pour the mixture into silicon molds.<br />

• Let <strong>you</strong>r molds cool in the refrigerator for at<br />

least an hour until set.<br />

• Keep leftovers in the fridge or a cool place.<br />

1 cup of orange juice<br />

• Mix all the ingredients together in a blender.<br />

• Pour ingredients into icy pole molds.<br />

• Add an icy pole stick and freeze for at least 12 hours.<br />

• In a punch bowl, pour <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong>, apple cider,<br />

pomegranate juice, and honey. Add fruit and<br />

cinnamon sticks. Mix well.<br />

• Cover and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.<br />

The longer the fruit soaks in the liquid, the more<br />

the flavors will combine.<br />

• Serve in short glasses garnished with more<br />

apple slices, pomegranate seeds, and cinnamon<br />

Ingredients:<br />

60ml <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

1 cup (100g) instant oat (gluten-free if available)<br />

¾ cup (90g) Gary’s True Grit Einkorn flour<br />

1½ teaspoon baking powder<br />

⅛ teaspoon salt<br />

2 tablespoon (28g) coconut oil, melted (wait until it cools)<br />

1 large egg, room temperature<br />

1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />

⅓ cup honey<br />

10 drop Lime Essential Oil Flavoring<br />

6 tablespoon (53g) fresh raspberry, diced<br />

Yields: 12-14 cookies<br />

Instructions:<br />

• In a medium bowl, whisk together oat, flour, baking powder, and salt.<br />

• In a separate bowl, whisk together coconut oil, egg, vanilla, honey, <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong>, and Lime Essential Oil<br />

Flavoring until thoroughly mixed.<br />

• Add in flour mixture and stir until combined.<br />

• Fold in the raspberries.<br />

• Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes and cover the entire cookies dough roll with plastic wrap.<br />

• Preheat <strong>you</strong>r oven to 160°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.<br />

Drop the cookie dough into rounded scoops onto the baking sheet. (If chilled longer than 1.5 hours,<br />

flatten slightly.)<br />

• Bake at 160°C for 13-15 minutes.<br />

• Cool on the baking sheet for at least 15 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.<br />

Note: Make sure to measure both the oat and flour correctly, using the spoon-and-level method: spoon the flour/oat in<br />

the measuring cup until it is overflowing. Then take the back of a table knife and level the flour/oat.<br />

Recipe 1: Asam Pedas Ikan Rebus<br />

Ingredients:<br />

Aromatic Ingredients:<br />

150ml <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

1 onion<br />

5 clove garlic<br />

10 dried chili<br />

10g belacan<br />

1 stalk lemongrass<br />

2 piece tamarind peel<br />

Vietnamese coriander @ daun kesum<br />

Other Ingredients:<br />

4 no. mackerel fish/seabass<br />

Pinch of salt<br />

• In a pot, add aromatic ingredients paste with water and bring it<br />

to boil on medium heat.<br />

• Add fish, lady’s fingers, tomato and season with a pinch of salt.<br />

• Let it simmer for 15 minutes until fish is cooked.<br />

• Remove the pot from heat and serve.<br />

Recipe 2: Panna Cotta<br />

Ingredients:<br />

100ml <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

150ml milk<br />

150ml whipping cream<br />

2 scoop Slique Shake<br />

1 bottle BLOOM Collagen/<br />

BLOOM Collagen Complete<br />

Instructions:<br />

• Blend Slique Shake with milk.<br />

• In a pot, heat up the mixture with the remaining<br />

ingredients over medium heat, and stir to mix well.<br />

• Lastly, add in gelatin powder and stir until<br />

fully dissolved.<br />

• Remove the pot of mixture from heat and let it<br />

cool for 5 minutes.<br />

• Equally divide the mixture into small glasses or<br />

containers and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours until<br />

fully set.<br />

• Decorate with any tropical fruits before serve.<br />

Recipe 3:<br />

Hot, Sweet & Spicy Gochujang Prawn with <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

Ingredients:<br />

30ml <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

1kg medium-sized prawn<br />

1 inch ginger (blend or pound)<br />

3 piece garlic (blend or pound)<br />

3 piece spring onion root<br />

4 tablespoon Gochujang paste<br />

2 tablespoon salted soy sauce<br />

1 tablespoon pure honey<br />

½ cup spring onion leaf<br />

Sesame seed (fry a bit without oil)<br />

Instructions:<br />

• Lightly fry garlic and ginger with coconut oil until fragrant.<br />

• Add Gochujang and spring onion root, and continue to fry.<br />

• Pour 30ml <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> to be the sour element of this dish.<br />

Continue to mix them.<br />

• Add soy sauce and honey, and continue stirring.<br />

• Add prawn and cook until the gravy is thick and the prawn has<br />

changed color.<br />

• Serve with spring onion leaves and sesame seed as garnishing.<br />

Fried Rice with Rose Omelette


Ingredients:<br />

For Seafood Fried Rice<br />

2 bowl Japanese rice<br />

2 shot <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

50g edamame<br />

4 tablespoon garlic<br />

100g squid (diced)<br />

100g shrimp (diced)<br />

100g plant-based meat<br />

1 tablespoon tomato paste<br />

1 tablespoon honey<br />

3 tablespoon soya sauce<br />

100ml cooking oil<br />

1 pinch black pepper<br />

Instructions:<br />

• Whip eggs with milk, mirin, Hondashi powder, 1 drop of<br />

Peppermint Essential Oil Flavoring and pepper till well<br />

mixed and set it in the chiller for later use.<br />

• Mix together <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong>, tomato paste, honey and<br />

some water.<br />

• Sauté garlic in oil till aromatic, followed by seafood,<br />

edamame, plant-based meat, rice and <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

mixture from Step 2. Season with soy and black pepper.<br />

Once done, set rice in a bowl for plating.<br />

• Pour half of the egg mixture into a non-stick pan on low to<br />

medium heat. Slowly use a pair of chopstick to twist the<br />

egg from the middle of the pan to create a rose.<br />

• Plate rice in the middle of the plate, slide egg on top.<br />

Garnish with parsley and optional mayonnaise.<br />

For Rose Omelette<br />

4 egg<br />

100ml milk<br />

3 tablespoon mirin (optional)<br />

1 teaspoon Hondashi powder<br />

2 sprig parsley (garnish)<br />

<strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> Nigiri Odyssea<br />

Ingredients:<br />

1 cup Japanese rice<br />

1 shot <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

2 tablespoon sliced nori<br />

2 teaspoon plum powder<br />

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar<br />

8 piece Hokkaido scallop<br />

1 tablespoon grated <strong>you</strong>ng ginger<br />

1 tablespoon sliced spring onion<br />

1 teaspoon Sriracha chili sauce<br />

4 tablespoon Japanese mayo<br />

1 teaspoon honey<br />

3 tablespoon soya sauce<br />

2 tablespoon fried shallot<br />

Instructions:<br />

• Marinate scallops in soya sauce for 30 minutes and keep in<br />

the chiller for later use.<br />

• Wash rice till water runs clear, leave the rice to soak in the<br />

water for 30 minutes before cooking in the rice cooker.<br />

• Mix <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> with apple cider vinegar and plum powder<br />

to make sushi vinegar.<br />

• For garnish, grate the ginger and thinly slice the spring onion.<br />

• Make the Sriracha mayo by adding Sriracha, mayonnaise,<br />

honey in a bowl and mix till incorporated.<br />

• Once rice is cooked, slowly add in <strong>NingXia</strong> mixture and nori<br />

while stirring the rice with the rice cooker spatula.<br />

Do this while rice is still hot and let it rest aside to cool for<br />

10 minutes. Wet hands slightly to shape the nigiri.<br />

• Dry off scallops of excess soya sauce with a kitchen towel<br />

and sear to desired doneness in a non-stick pan.<br />

• To serve, top the nigiri with scallop followed by ginger,<br />

spring onions and fried shallots. Drizzle Sriracha mayo over<br />

the nigiris or on the side as <strong>you</strong> prefer.<br />

A. <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> does not contain any gluten, soy, or nuts, and no ingredients are derived from<br />

gluten, soy, or nuts. It may be manufactured in the same facility that uses gluten in other product<br />

formulations. However, be rest assured that the manufacturer strictly adheres to the Current Good<br />

Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations and the machinery is cleansed and sanitized between<br />

productions to prevent cross-contamination. If <strong>you</strong> have additional concerns about the use of this<br />

product, we encourage <strong>you</strong> to speak to <strong>you</strong>r health-care provider.<br />

Q. Why is there sediment in the <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> bottles?<br />

A. The fruits included in the <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> formula are prone to settle in the bottle. If the bottle is being<br />

stored on its side, the sediment may be more prone to settle in the neck of the bottle than if <strong>you</strong> are<br />

storing it upright. Please shake the bottle before use as instructed on the product label for best results.<br />

Q. Will the metal lids leach into the <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong>?<br />

A. Young Living went to great pains to find a lid that is compatible with our juice and standards. The<br />

metallic lids are coated with a food grade epoxy that prevents interaction with the metal and the<br />

juice. Several immersion tests have been conducted on <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> to see what effects, if any, the<br />

metal lids have on the product. All tests have confirmed that the juice has met Young Living’s high<br />

standards, therefore allowing us to sell this product.<br />

Q. The <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> bottle and <strong>NingXia</strong> Singles labels state, “For Adults only. Not intended for children,<br />

pregnant or lactating women”. Is <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> safe for children/pregnant/lactating women?<br />

A. Currently Young Living Malaysia and Young Living Singapore share product packaging and labels<br />

with other APAC markets. The above statutory declaration is only applicable for <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> products<br />

in the Philippines and does not apply for Malaysia and Singapore. However, since we are sharing<br />

product packaging and labels, the addition of this clause is a requirement when registering <strong>NingXia</strong><br />

<strong>Red</strong> products in Malaysia and Singapore due to local Food and Drug Administration (FDA)/Singapore<br />

Food Agency (SFA) policy that seeks to be on the safer spectrum in order to protect the generally<br />

vulnerable population of children and pregnant women. There are NO ADVERSE effects associated<br />

with the use of <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> on children and pregnant women, and there is no safety issue raised by<br />

the FDA/SFA for this product. However, as children are more sensitive than adults, it would be prudent<br />

to always give a smaller dose in the initial use. If <strong>you</strong>r children have specific health conditions, it<br />

would be best to consult their physicians prior to use.<br />

For pregnant women meanwhile, their bodies go through a wide variety of changes, heightening<br />

some sensitivities that were previously not present. Due to these sensitivities and all the changes that<br />

occur in the body, it would be wise to consult a health-care provider before ingesting <strong>NingXia</strong> <strong>Red</strong><br />

during pregnancy. Your physician knows <strong>you</strong>, <strong>you</strong>r specific health concerns, and the status of <strong>you</strong>r<br />

pregnancy, therefore they should be made aware of any plan to use food supplements<br />
