Because ofthe discovery of diamonds, the area that was thena dwelling of less than a seventy householdsboasts of a Mine that has moved Botswana fromamong the poorest continents in the continent toan upper middle income economy because ofthese diamonds, Jwaneng has a vibrant economyand its residents have access to the best healthcare, educational facilities, the best infrastructure,good road and air network and safe drinkingwater.Not only is Jwaneng known for its diamonds butalso of the opportunities it presents to investorsboth locally and internationally. Positioned alongthe Trans-Kalahari highway, Jwaneng acts as atransit stop-over on the way to and from Namibiaand South Africa.
