STUDIO UKU
IN THE HANDS OF UKU
The Bootycamp pop-up installation is going
to be created by Studio UKU. Specialized
in conceptual festival stages, pop-ups, and
installations for festivals such as De Zon, Into
the Woods, and Down the rabbit hole, UKU
knows how the job needs to be done. To keep
the costs low and the pop-up installation as
sustainable as possible, they will use materials
from waste streams. Waste stream materials
have a low purchase price per M2, and in the
hands of Studio UKU, just as good-looking as
expensive new materials.
To make the pop-up even more sustainable and
reduce the costs even further, Studio UKU takes
ownership of the installation. This means that
they pay for most of the materials, and production
costs will be less. After the event, Studio UKU
breaks down the pop-up and the materials will
be reused for other projects. This is often done
when a company has a small budget.

Whenever Bits Bodywear decides to use the
pop-up installation for more than 3 festivals,
Studio UKU recommends investing in the popup.
