FUNCTIONAL
• The second section of the Bootycamp pop-up
installation needs to answer the question: ‘How
much blood is too much blood?’ This needs to be
done in a visual, tangible, and fun way.
• This section of the base must provide The
Exploring Bloomer with accurate and real
information about menstruation, for the purpose
of education.
• An abstract installation of ‘’blood’’ visualizes
how much blood is lost during a woman’s life.
Connected are 4 headphones with information
about normal and abnormal blood loss. The
information will be given by a professional, in a
fun and bubbly way.
EMOTIONAL
• The section ‘How much blood is too much
blood?’ Needs to create normalization
concerning the subject of menstruation.
• The Exploring Bloomer is informed, and with
that reassured and educated about the topic of
menstrual flow.
• The section needs to inspire young women to
#daretoask their own ‘’awkward’’ sex questions
to normalize talking about menstruation and the
female body to break the taboo.
• The Bits Bootycamps wants The Exploring
Bloomer to feel heard and seen.
• The visitors need to experience fun and
openness while being educated on the topic of
female sexuality and pleasure.
