A Social Group operates on a Wednesday<br />
afternoon for those who wish to chat and take<br />
part in a quiz over coffee from the comfort of a<br />
participant’s own home.<br />
It costs around £20,000 annually to operate<br />
AIM’s services and class participants are asked<br />
to make a donation towards the cost. However,<br />
if a person can’t afford to make a contribution,<br />
they are not turned away.<br />
Now that Covid restrictions have been<br />
removed, face-to-face get-togethers for lunch<br />
or coffee and a chat have been organised in<br />
Aberdeen, Stonehaven and Westhill and are<br />
much appreciated by participants.<br />
AIMS is available to anyone with multiple<br />
sclerosis or a similar neurological condition,<br />
their carers and family members - join them<br />
digitally from anywhere across Aberdeen and<br />
Aberdeenshire.<br />
