Navigating Broward College<br />
Students have a greater chance to succeed when they take responsibility for their<br />
learning and know how to navigate their educational experience while at <strong>college</strong>.<br />
Virtual Queue<br />
Prospective, new, transfer and current <strong>student</strong>s interested in speaking to a live<br />
representative from Student Services, including Academic Advising, Admissions and<br />
Registration, International Services, Testing and Assessment Services, Veterans Services,<br />
or Financial Aid can visit our Virtual QLess. Students can also join the Virtual Queue by<br />
scanning the QR code below.<br />
Student ID Number<br />
All Broward College applicants are given a unique <strong>student</strong> ID number upon application.<br />
This number is used to identify the <strong>student</strong> at the College and used when communicating<br />
in person or virtually. The College stores limited academic record information with the<br />
social security number for the primary purposes of applying for financial aid, providing<br />
verification documentation to the federal government for aid, applying for employment,<br />
and the institution’s obligation to federal and state reporting.<br />
How to access your account<br />
Once you have submitted the Broward College Admissions application, a communication<br />
will be sent to your personal email with your Broward College <strong>student</strong> ID, email address<br />
and username. Your Broward College <strong>student</strong> email will be in the format of username@<br />
mail.<strong>broward</strong>.edu. The email account will not be active until you have completed all the<br />
steps that apply to you on the Steps to Starting College at Broward College.<br />
If you do not know your username or email address, go to the Find my Username page.<br />
You will need your first name, last name and your date of birth or your <strong>student</strong> ID.<br />
