Welcome to our brand new Autumn / Winter collections 

catalogue. This initiative is a response to the dynamic 

models and ranges that are being launched over the coming 

months. Now that Continental Eyewear is part of Millmead 

Optical Group, we want to showcase some of the latest 

models in our extensive brand portfolio. This catalogue 

features frames from our newer brands such as X-Eyes Lite, 

Cameo Sustain and Puriti. Along with new models from 

established classics like Walter & Herbert, our in-house 

collection which is carefully crafted by hand in our Liverpool 

factory, and Reykjavik Eyes, our premium range which is 

made from Japanese titanium, expertly manufactured in Italy 

and inspired by Icelandic nature themes of Fire & Ice. There 

is something for everyone including new models from our 

much-loved value ranges Lazer and Matrix.

recycled eyewear, made from rPET. Striking 

designs and radiant colours,underpinned by 

sustainable manufacturing, will ensure

Our recently launched X-Eyes Lite range is 

already proving extremely popular, thanks to the 

combination of contemporary design, lightweight 

titanium and highly malleable structure that makes 

it desirable and versatile. 

Our brand new ‘Puriti’ collection is an absolute 

must-stock range, which our Business 

Development Managers will be carrying from 

September onwards. This charismatic new 

collection is exceptionally comfortable, made 

in Japan from lightweight Japanese titanium.

you to the new X-Eyes Lite range. 

X-Eyes Lite is a bright and colourful range of titanium and 

acetate eyewear featuring 21 models in three colour-ways. 

With an incredibly thin and ‘lite’ feel, this collection offers a 

variety of modern and classic styles that promote a much 

thinner and more premium look than regular acetate. The 

nose pads are comfortable silicone and the titanium material 

ensures maximum durability and lightness, as well as being 

hypo-allergenic.

We are excited to introduce a new range of 

eco-eyewear made from recycled plastic bottles. 

We believe that we can do better by taking a step in the right 

direction to normalise a more sustainable eyewear industry. 

We do this by creating beautiful eco-eyewear crafted from 

recycled plastic bottles (rPET). Sustainable eyewear can be 

achieved without compromising on quality or style: we want 

you to look your best for an even better future. 

Launching in October 2022, this 13 model collection features 

vibrant colour-ways with beautifully sprayed temple tips and 

eco-friendly printing. For the designers colour was key in this 

collection, incorporating many smoky, frosty, and foamy effect 

colours to represent environmental components such as sea 

glass and washed-up plastic.

Finally ready to launch in September 2022, the Puriti range 

presents a sophisticated take on classic frame styles, featuring 

state-of-the-art Japanese craftsmanship and high-quality 

raw materials. The Japanese titanium used contains many 

properties that make it an excellent choice for glasses. 

Particularly if they are being worn daily, as the material is 

light, durable and is corrosion-resistant. Expertly crafted from 

materials to design, this range has been in the development 

process for just over three years and is finally ready to launch 

in 2022.

REMOTE 

EDGING 

As well as having our own tracers 

to offer, we can accept a remote 

edge file from a number of different 

tracers which you may already have 

in practice. This allows us to accept 

traces for the vast majority of frames 

on the market including full rim, 

supra and rimless. 

When you have a patient with a high 

combination of spherical and cylinder 

powers, it is best to send the job 

to our glazing team. However, we 

suggest calling the customer service 

team to discuss this. 

In addition, there are certain frame 

types that are not always suitable 

for tracing through remote edgers. 

These can include double rim 

frames, inline supra frames, shallow 

frames with a depth of less than 

22mm and frames with a high 

degree of wrap angle. 

For frames that are difficult to trace 

or for orders where you require 

powers outside of +/-7.00 sphere 

and over -3 cyls, we strongly suggest 

you send the frame and lens order 

to our on-site glazing team.

service on site. Spectacle cases, lens 

cloths and bags can be customised

A wide variety of printing methods are 

available, such as block printing, heat 

transfer, foiling, embossing and woven

a mock-up unique to your order 

requirements, so you can see what 

your finished product will look like.
