new programs. A capstone research
Saddle River Day School, Saddle River
project for Middle School (grades
5–8) students is a yearlong program
that is student directed with the
guidance of a mentor and advisor.
An Upper School (grades 9–12)
honors diploma program combines
independent study with a rigorous
academic program and leadership
positions on campus. The school
also offers nineteen advancedplacement
courses, including two
new ones in psychology and human
geography, along with college-level
math classes. “We offer the type of
curriculum that sets our students
apart when applying to colleges,”
says Geoff Bowman, director of
admissions.

Founded in 1899 by the Sisters of
Charity of Saint Elizabeth, Saint
Elizabeth University (SEU) is a
Catholic, co-educational, liberal
arts university with a deep commitment
to health sciences for people
of diverse ages, backgrounds, and
cultures. It is a designated Hispanic-
Serving Institution (HSI).
