an independent, co-educational day
school for grades 6 to 12 with an
enrollment of approximately 600
students representing 80-plus communities
in northern New Jersey.
At MBS, each student is empowered

Signature academic programs in
Middle School and Upper School offer
students a wide range of options
for learning as well as the support
and structure needed to succeed in
their individual academic journeys.
Balanced with a commitment to experiential
learning and social-emotional

MBS also encourages students
to become self-reflective and aware
of the needs of others through its
Community Service Program. Every
semester, each student is required to
complete community service hours
and reflections about the experience.
In 2019, the school opened its
Center for Innovation & Design,
where students cultivate essential
skills in critical reasoning, teamwork,
and problem-solving through
hands-on experience.
