STAR IN THE INDIAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY

Hope the readers have
watched an Indian Sony Liv web
series ‘Shrikant Bashir‘ and you
must have remembered the lead
actor Bashir Khan Yudhishthir
Singh. The first time I saw Bashir
Khan was in a scene from the
hit Indian Sony Liv web series
‘Shrikant Bashir’. As Senior Officer
of ‘SOT’, an intelligence agency,
he thwarts the enemies’ plan
with ease and precision with the
co-actor Gashmeer Mahajani
also known as Shrikant in the
web series. What intrigued me
the most about Yudhishthir’s
character was his sharp mind
and fearless attitude in the face
of danger. I was curious to know
more about him and decided to
do some research on the actor
who plays him, Yudhishthir Singh.
I request Yudhishthir to tell me
about yourself and your upcoming
work and some words about your
web series. He agreed to give an
exclusive interview (Q/A) to EMEA
Tribune.
DJ: Hello Yudhishthir Singh,
Please tell me about yourself
Yudhishthir: I am an Indian
actor who started my acting
through my debut Indian web
series ‘Shrikant Bashir’ in
2020. I was born and brought
up in Delhi in a political business
family. I schooled in Delhi
and graduated from Delhi
University. By education, I am
a lawyer and got my education
from the Delhi law faculty. If
you don’t know then let me
tell you, I am also a former
professional cricketer and have
played all-age group cricket
for Delhi and Haryana. I have
played first-class cricket for
many years and then IPL for
Hyderabad and Delhi. I got
injured in 2014 while playing
cricket, but I recovered after
8 months. In 2016 I moved to
Bombay (Mumbai) and started
working as an assistant director
to Nikkhil Advani.

DJ: That’s really great, please
tell me about your experience
with your web series Shrikant
Bashir and when Season 2
coming.
Yudhishthir: As you know the
web series Shrikant Bashir is
produced by Salman Khan,
we had and we have plans for
releasing the Season 2 of the
web series. The script is already
locked but due to some technical
problems and because of
the covid pandemic we have
lost a few key people (Bikramjeet
Kanwarpal) who were integral
parts of the project. But
season 2 is coming soon and
we hope it will happen soon.
