Actions – On Equity in <strong>EPICUR</strong><br />

4.1. ON EQUITY IN <strong>EPICUR</strong><br />

As already stated, the suggested activities mentioned could serve as ideas for future <strong>EPICUR</strong> activities.<br />

e.g., concerning Management of the project<br />

• Appointment of a governing body of the Action Plan<br />

• Appointment of an external auditing team (2 experts) to assess application of the Action Plan -<br />

interim and final assessment according to the KPIs and milestones<br />

e.g., for Innovative learning & teaching formats for European Citizens of the future<br />

• Creation of an <strong>EDI</strong> <strong>EPICUR</strong> toolbox - resources and learnings to share amongst the consortium<br />

(based e.g. on the ALU-FR toolbox).<br />

e.g., for Dissemination and Sustainability<br />

• Increasing social awareness by means of organizing events that promote diversity, inclusion, and acceptance,<br />

using the best practices already followed by the consortium (based on AMU activities):<br />

a. Anti-Discrimination Days<br />

b. Language of Empowerment: International Week for Equality and Tolerance<br />

c. Feminative forms in the Academic Discourse Conference<br />

d. University without Discrimination Conference<br />

e. Seminar: Women in Polish public space - appreciated or discriminated against?<br />

f. training aimed at increasing the awareness of staff about transgender / inter and non-binary<br />

persons and their legal status<br />

e.g., for <strong>EPICUR</strong>-Research<br />

• Fostering increased consideration of gender / <strong>EDI</strong> dimensions in research questions and methods as<br />

well as in the composition of project teams to increase the quality and accuracy of research, innovation<br />

and teaching.<br />

• Increased Research and reporting on equality in/on ‘gender’<br />

• Identifying potential issue by means of conducting quantitative survey research among the consortium.<br />

• Students‘/student led initiatives on <strong>EDI</strong> research (ALU-FR and AUTh Phylis)<br />

• Open science as a tool for inclusiveness<br />
