UN LLIBRE<br />
<strong>Ot</strong> <strong>the</strong> wizard <strong>reads</strong> a <strong>story</strong>
L’<strong>Ot</strong> <strong>el</strong> bruixot arriba de la biblioteca<br />
amb <strong>un</strong> llibre sota <strong>el</strong> braç.<br />
−Quin llibre portes? −li preg<strong>un</strong>ta<br />
la Berta, curiosa.<br />
<strong>Ot</strong> <strong>the</strong> wizard arrives from <strong>the</strong> library<br />
with a book <strong>un</strong>der his arm.<br />
“Which book did you bring?” Berta asks<br />
him curiously.
−Es diu El viatge d’en Robert<br />
−li <strong>conte</strong>sta l’<strong>Ot</strong>−. Vols que te’l <strong>llegeix</strong>i?<br />
−D’acord, que bé! −diu <strong>el</strong>la. I es disposa<br />
a escoltar-lo.<br />
“It’s called «Robert’s journey»”, <strong>Ot</strong> answers.<br />
“Would you like me to read it to you?”<br />
“Okay, great!” she says. And gets ready<br />
to listen.
−En Robert sempre s’estava a casa seva.<br />
Mai no havia viatjat −<strong>llegeix</strong> l’<strong>Ot</strong>−.<br />
Però, <strong>un</strong> dia, en Robert es va dir:<br />
«He de sortir a conèixer món!».<br />
I, mentre <strong>llegeix</strong> això, l’<strong>Ot</strong> fa màgia i,<br />
de sobte, la butaca pren forma de casa.<br />
“Robert was always at home. He had never<br />
trav<strong>el</strong>led before”, <strong>reads</strong> <strong>Ot</strong>.<br />
“But, one day, Robert said to hims<strong>el</strong>f:<br />
I need to go out and get to know <strong>the</strong> world!”<br />
And, while he <strong>reads</strong> this, <strong>Ot</strong> does magic and,<br />
suddenly, <strong>the</strong> armchair takes <strong>the</strong> shape of a house.
−Així que es va comprar <strong>un</strong> cavall<br />
i va sortir a cavalcar p<strong>el</strong>s camins<br />
−continua llegint l’<strong>Ot</strong>.<br />
Quina sorpresa que s’endú la Berta! Ara,<br />
l’<strong>Ot</strong> ha convertit la butaca en <strong>un</strong> cavall!<br />
“So he bought hims<strong>el</strong>f a horse<br />
and went out to hack along <strong>the</strong> tracks”,<br />
<strong>Ot</strong> continues reading.<br />
Berta is so surprised! Now, <strong>Ot</strong> has turned<br />
<strong>the</strong> armchair into a horse!
−Després de cavalcar tot <strong>el</strong> dia,<br />
en Robert va veure <strong>un</strong> cast<strong>el</strong>l.<br />
«Hi entraré a descansar»,<br />
va pensar en Robert.<br />
“After hacking all day,<br />
Robert saw a castle.<br />
I’ll go inside and rest,<br />
thought Robert.”
