The palace Hellbrun was a pleasure palace, a place to relax, celebrate, and recuperate.<br />
The palace is nearly the same<br />
as it was 400 years ago, except that now everyone can visit it not only the archbishop<br />
Markus Sittikus.<br />
The permanent exhibition<br />
The power of archbishop Markus Sittikus reached far beyond Salzburg. He ruled a region<br />
from Carinthia in the south to Regensburg in the north. The interactive permanent<br />
exhibition “GrandDelight – The unexpected world of Markus Sittikus” conveys the castle<br />
and its history in a refreshingly different way – just as the prince-archbishop would have<br />
liked.<br />
Besides the exhibition, the palace is used as a location for weddings and celebrations. The<br />
different parts like the palace rooms or the Orangery can be reserved as a venue for a<br />
Party.<br />
