Hasanoğlan Köy Enstitüsü Türkiye’de yapılmış olan 15.köy enstitüsü konumundadır. Tarihsel ve kültürel değeri olan enstitü yeniden işlevlendirilecektir. Yapının ana işlevinden uzaklaşmadan
yapının mevcut geleneksel dokusunu koruyarak yeniden işlevlendirme kapsamında Deniz Müzesi adı altında Türk Denizcilik Tarihi’ni öğretmek, denizcilik koleksiyonlarını sergilemek, denizcilik
alanına ilgisi olanlara eğitim vermeyi amaçladım. Yapının tarihi değerini göz önünde bulundurarak projenin konseptini ise saydamlık olarak belirledim.
