I LA CAPA MÀGICA<br />
<strong>Ot</strong> <strong>the</strong> wizard<br />
<strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> magic cloak
Aquest home que viatja amb una escombra<br />
és l’<strong>Ot</strong>, <strong>el</strong> bruixot.<br />
Té poders màgics i sempre li passen<br />
coses sorprenents.<br />
The man who trav<strong>el</strong>s with a broomstick<br />
is <strong>Ot</strong>, <strong>the</strong> wizard.<br />
He has magical powers <strong>and</strong> surprising things<br />
always happen to him.
Cada matí, l’<strong>Ot</strong> agafa l’escombra<br />
i surt a passejar. Avui, vo<strong>la</strong>nt, vo<strong>la</strong>nt,<br />
s’ha trobat <strong>la</strong> Roser, plorant.<br />
−Què et passa, Roser? −li pregunta l’<strong>Ot</strong>−.<br />
Per què plores?<br />
Every morning, <strong>Ot</strong> takes his broomstick<br />
<strong>and</strong> goes for a walk. Today, while flying around,<br />
he ran into Roser. She was crying.<br />
“What’s <strong>the</strong> matter, Roser?” <strong>Ot</strong> asks her.<br />
“Why are you crying?”
−He perdut <strong>el</strong> Xitu, <strong>el</strong> meu gos<br />
−contesta <strong>la</strong> Roser−. L’he tret a passejar<br />
i se m’ha es<strong>capa</strong>t. No sé pas on deu ser.<br />
−Jo t’ajudaré −li diu l’<strong>Ot</strong>−. Ja ho veuràs<br />
com <strong>el</strong> trobarem.<br />
“I have lost Xitu, my dog”, Roser answers.<br />
“I took him for a walk <strong>and</strong> he ran away.<br />
I have no idea where he could be.”<br />
“I’ll h<strong>el</strong>p you”, says <strong>Ot</strong>. “We’ll find him,<br />
you’ll see.”
L’<strong>Ot</strong> es treu <strong>la</strong> <strong>capa</strong> i <strong>la</strong> posa<br />
sobre <strong>el</strong> cap de <strong>la</strong> Roser.<br />
−Què fas ara? −pregunta <strong>la</strong> nena.<br />
−Ja ho veuràs, no t’espantis<br />
−contesta l’<strong>Ot</strong>.<br />
<strong>Ot</strong> takes off his cloak <strong>and</strong> puts it<br />
on top of Roser’s head.<br />
“What are you doing now?” asks <strong>the</strong> girl.<br />
“You will see. Don’t be afraid”,<br />
replies <strong>Ot</strong>.
