a! Ha! Ha! I am RAKSHASA rākṣasa (demon) SUBAHU, son of
Sunda and Tataka. I love to accompany my brother Mareecha
and our demon army and disturb the rishis of Siddhashrama
siddhāśrama during their fire rituals.
This time we strike on the final night of Rishi Vishvamitra’s sixday
yagnya. We find two kids with bows and arrows on their
guard. This is going to be double the fun. Ha! Ha!

Who are these two young men? The dark-skinned one (Rama) shot the Manavastra
mānavāstra missile and threw brother Mareecha to some distant land. He then struck me with
the powerful Agneyastra āgneyāstra missile. Ah! I am badly hurt.
