The pearl, or substitute gem, should be bought during an ascending cycle
of the Moon on a Monday and given to the jeweler on the same day. The ring
or pendant, whatever is made, should also be obtained from the jeweler on a
Monday during the ascending cycle, and worn after proper rituals have been
performed.
Women can wear pearls in a necklace, an arm band, or any kind of setting
in which the gemstone touches the skin.
They should take pearl powder to help heal their bodies electro-chemically.
Meditation
Number 2 people are supposed to meditate on Lord Shiva. If they have no
way of meditating on Shiva, they can start the day with meditation on a pearl,
crystal, moonstone, or quartz.
Deity
Their deity is Shiva. He is seated on a tiger skin in lotus posture, holding a
trident in his left hand and conferring blessings with his right hand. A stream
of water is coming out from his matted locks. Shiva is smiling and looking
with love through his half-open eyes.
Mantra
Japa 3 (repetition) of the mantra of any planet should be completed within the
ascending cycle of the moon and should be repeated the prescribed number of
times.
AUM SOM SOMAYE NAMAH—AUM
AUM SHRIM KRIM CHAM CHANDRAYE NAMAH—AUM
Either of the above two mantras can be recited. The prescribed number of
mantra repetitions is eleven thousand.
