<strong>Summit</strong> <strong>Art</strong> <strong>Glass</strong> Covered Turtle Dish was produced from the mid to late<br />
1980's-2005. Russ Vogelsong acquired the original Westmoreland mold. He<br />
did NOT reproduce the small, lidless Westmoreland Turtles. Because he did<br />
not add his own logo to the Turtle mold, the Turtle is unmarked. 7 1/2" long.<br />
No known reproductions.<br />
Rosso Wholesale <strong>Company</strong> sold Vaseline and Vaseline Carnival Turtles that<br />
were produced by <strong>Summit</strong> <strong>Art</strong> <strong>Glass</strong>.<br />
The way to tell the difference between <strong>Summit</strong> <strong>Art</strong> <strong>Glass</strong> Turtles and and<br />
Westmoreland Turtles is to learn the colors that were produced by each<br />
company. Mutual colors are White Milk <strong>Glass</strong> and Vaseline. Westmoreland<br />
placed foil labels on their early made turtles but if the label has fallen off,<br />
it is impossible to tell the difference because they used the same mold.<br />
