Message from Management
We advance
"The path is made by walking...",
so says a phrase from a popular Spanish song. And this applies
to the process that we are living in Viatris Central America and
the Caribbean.
It is very exciting to witness and be part of the great progress
that we are experiencing as an organization and that we
highlight, both in our Town Hall and in this edition of our Top
Viatris. This is happening at a key moment in world history,
where the pandemic generated a substantial change in the way
of living and doing things.
Now, that we are gradually overcoming this crisis, it is time to
return to our normality, the new and different one, that
adjusts to the current conditions and needs of our personal
lives and our business.
Viatris is focused on supporting each country in its recovery
efforts, reinforcing our business objectives and obviously on
generating the necessary security conditions so that our
collaborators can do it too, without losing sight of our mission
of bringing medicines to every corner of our Cluster and
ensure that all people have healthy lives throughout each
stage of their lives.
Numerous initiatives are on the way and to achieve their successful completion we require the commitment and
support of all of us who are part of Viatris CAC.
Success is with us, it depends on us.
Esmeralda Rodríguez CAC/Spanish Latam Cluster Lead

Viatris News
We returned
to
100 %
The Viatris office in Costa Rica was authorized to operate at 100% capacity.
The measure was taken, given the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of
Health of this country, and is in force since May 2.
Colleagues have shown great enthusiasm for this return to normal work.
We will operate in a hybrid model, attending three days at the Viatris CA&C
base and working another two days from home.
And our headquarters gave us a great welcome with a wall of donuts decorated with the Viatris colors and logo, which we all
enjoyed in this wonderful return to the office.
Elmo advises us
As part of Viatris' Corporate Social Responsibility, a strategic alliance was established with
the “Sesame Workshop”, organization, derived from the renowned Sesame Street
program, to develop an educational project with one of its most emblematic characters:
Elmo
In this initiative, composed of a series of videos and other materials, Elmo and his friends
share with the smallest of our homes, as well as with their parents and caregivers, simple
and valuable tools to face the new reality of the COVID19 pandemic.
Precisely a few days ago, the "Viatris 2021 Sustainability Report" was published, where our commitment in this matter is
reinforced, making it clear that as a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), at Viatris we believe that
companies can be allies that help enable potential solutions to some of society's most pressing challenges.
That's why we sign philanthropic partnerships, like Sesame Workshop, that allow us to reach patients and
communities around the world.
More information on the
At Viatris CAC we will soon announce the scope of the Sesame Workshop
program in our region. We will keep you updated.

Viatris allied with the International Diabetes Federation
On April 8, the International Diabetes Federation welcomed Viatris Inc as an ally of its organization in its global initiatives of awareness, defense
and education of this disease.
Viatris Inc will be a key sponsor of World Diabetes Day (November 14) supporting IDF activities that seek to promote the availability of better
care and education for people living with diabetes and boost efforts to halt the rise of type 2 diabetes.
Town Hall: information for everyone
The first Town Hall of Viatris CAC during 2002 took place on April 26. For an hour and a half, the entire organization had the opportunity to
learn more about how we are progressing in achieving our financial objectives, as well as the different initiatives that are being developed by
the areas of the company, as part of this process of growth and consolidation that we are experiencing. We also received excellent messages
from our leaders, Patrick and Esmeralda.
A wonderful meeting that motivates us to continue collaborating as a team, to not only meet the strategic objectives, but also exceed them,
together!

Did you
know that?
Healthy mind,
happy heart
Under the name "Healthy mind, happy heart" a new program was launched to promote mental and
cardiovascular health in our organization, which has been developed by our colleagues in the medical area, Dr.
Sheena Nandwani-Seth and Dr. Joyce Oguilve, with the support of the doctor in charge of our medical service, Dr.
Deborah Brown.
This project consists of a series of talks on those important topics, through Teams platform, as well as challenges
that participants must complete in full, to get prizes at the end of the campaign. So, not only we are going to learn,
but we are also going to win.
"I am very pleased that we are talking about those topics in our organization. Initiatives like this come at a key
moment given what we have experienced as individuals, families, organization and society. Making us more aware
of the importance of taking care of our mental and cardiovascular health will translate into a better quality of life,"
said Esmeralda Rodriguez, our regional leader and promoter of the campaign.
With "Healthy mind, happy heart" we will receive information on mental disorders, cardiovascular conditions,
medications, as well as prevention and care tips that will be of great help to all of us who are part of Viatris CAC.
All of the above will allow us to take care of our health as a personal responsibility of each one of us.
In the first instance, this "Healthy mind, happy heart" will be launched in Costa Rica, to later be replicated in other
countries in the region. We invite you to be part of this program and make the most of it.

Via-TIPS
HOW DOES XLOOKUP WORK?
We have heard a lot about Vlookup or Buscarv. As functional as this formula is for finding values in one table and
taking them to another, it has its limitations. So Microsotf developed a function, which can be considered super
improved from the Vlookoup, called Xlookup or BuscarX.
Before explaining how the formula works it is important to highlight some of the main advantages that this Excel
Formula shows.
1) Unlike VLOOKUP, here we only have to choose
two columns, which makes the function perform
better.
3) The default match is EXACT, meanwhile with
VLOOKUP that we had to define FALSE or TRUE.
2) It is possible to find the last result.
4) We can use wildcards for approximate search.
5) Finally, we forget to define the columns by number, even if we move the
columns or insert new ones, the search will still work.

We are the Champions!
Recommendations for colleagues
The Culture area of Viatris CAC increases its reach in the
organization with the relaunch of its Culture Champions
program. Three committees are proposed where
colleagues can integrate and contribute with their
valuable ideas to generate new projects that benefit us
as a group and company.
These committees will function under the leadership of
Corporate Affairs, who will support and guide each
initiative. We invite you to be part of this project.
To do so, please email us at
Viatris.CommunicationsCAC@viatris.com.
We are waiting for you!
We are launching a new section: Recommendations for
colleagues. We ask for your support by recommending a
book, a film, a series, a course, which, by its content, has
had an impact on your lives, whether personal or
professional, and that you would like to share with other
colleagues.
Please send your suggestions or recommendations to:
Viatris.CommunicationsCAC@viatris.com
Let's travel through our region
Our region is quite diverse and most of us are used to
talking about the different countries that composed
our cluster. In this section we want to know more
about each corner of our cluster, tourist places, dishes
and characteristic activities of each of the Central
American and Caribbean countries.
We want you as our tour guide, to do so we ask you to
help us with the following survey and thus learn more
about the beauties of each of our countries and their
customs. https://forms.o¬ce.com/r/H8ZNUQr7NG
Meanwhile, we share a recommendation from Costa
Rica...

Living Via Viatris
Manuel Antonio
Manuel Antonio is a town located on the Costa Rican
Pacific coast, belonging to the canton of Quepos, the
province of Puntarenas. It is distinguished by the
beauty of its beaches, the green of its forests, its vast
biodiversity and an offer of hotels and restaurants,
established in harmony with nature.
How to get there? There is a regular bus service from
the capital, San José, and Manuel Antonio. If you drive,
you will need to use Route 27 from San José and then
the Carretera Costanera. The journey takes about three
and a half hours. There are also air services that depart
from San José to the Quepos airport.
It is a true paradise for surf lovers and those who enjoy
adventure activities and. If what you want is to rest on a
white sand beach and blue sea, Manuel Antonio is your
place.
Manuel Antonio is made up of five beaches. Three of
them are in the National Park of the same name:
Manuel Antonio, Gemelas and Puerto Escondido. To
enter this conservation area, foreign tourists must pay
an entrance fee of USD$16. Additionally, there are the
public beaches of Espadilla (it is the largest of all) and
Biesanz, which, due to access, tends to be more private
and less visited.
One of the elements that impresses visitors is the large
amount of existing fauna. It is not surprising that during
your visit you are suddenly accompanied by a family of
white-faced monkeys (an endemic species of the area),
raccoons, sloths, iguanas, among others.
