EVA ZHOU 38 June 2022 NZPhotographer
Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, I have been living in Auckland for 20 years. New Zealand perfectly balanced the city-girl inside me and nurtured the laid back, carefree and restful characteristics in my soul. Photography is one of my favourite ways to express my creativity. Travelling and capturing the moments in the journey gives me pure joy. Colours and the light in nature are the main inspirations for my photos. www.newcreationimage.com IMAGE NEW ZEALAND Over the past two years, in between the lockdowns, I captured these photos while travelling to see the sunrises and sunsets. The beauty of nature has no regard for any lockdown. When it is time to shine, it shines – sometimes in unexpected moments, coming with lovely surprising forms too. It never ceases to amaze those who behold it, and it heals them too. The landscape of New Zealand has no doubt given me the strength and encouragement to continue the journey. I believe that as the world reopens, this beauty will welcome and refresh many souls too. NZPhotographer June 2022 39
