DC fast charger will charge it from 0-80% in an hour. It is likely to cost Rs 9 lakhs when it is
released in India.
3. Tata Altroz EV
The Altroz EV will be based entirely on the current Altroz, with just minor design changes. It will
be based on the ALFA-Arc platform, which was designed specifically for electric vehicles. A
30.2kWh liquid-cooled, IP67 lithium-ion battery pack might be installed in this vehicle. It might

be powered by a 3-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with a power output of
roughly 100bhp. It might cost anything between Rs 12 lakhs and Rs 15 lakhs.
4. Renault K-ZE EV
The Renault K-ZE would be based on Renault's existing Kwid model. The worldwide version
has a power output of 43 bhp and a torque output of 125 Nm. It comes with a 26.8kWh battery
pack that takes 4 hours to completely charge when using an AC charger. It can charge from
30% to 80% in half an hour using rapid DC charging. It has a range of nearly 200 kilometers on
a single charge. The Indian version is likely to have the same features, and it might be released
for less than Rs 10 lakhs.
