Warner Robins High School Valedictorian, Timothy Howell Timothy Howell has marched in the Demon Marching Band since his freshman year; accruing three solos and two duets during that time along with providing various “body” ideas to the shows. His junior and senior year he was a section leader <strong>of</strong> the baritone section along with being field captain his senior year. In school, he has been the primary trombonist in symphonic band since his freshman year; also earning a few solos along the way. He has made honor and region band all four years, and he made all-state his senior year. He competed in extemporaneous speech competitions earning a semi-finalist position, a merit degree from the National Speech and Debate organization, and was the alternate for region speech competitions. He helped with audio for the WRHS <strong>The</strong>atre Department and the Wellston Winds, a community band. He writes and produces his own music under the name “Unstable Music”. He earned the highest SAT score in his class, thus making him the STAR student with Mrs. Candace Henderson as his STAR teacher. Timothy has been accepted into Troy University and will be majoring in music. Salutatorian, Christopher Hyde Chris Hyde has played for the varsity soccer team since his freshman year, and was elected as team captain his senior year. Diversifying his interests his senior year, he learned to play piano for the first time, playing in a school concert. He joined art club the same year, learning to cultivate creativity among creative minds. Chris has been nominated for the Governor’s Honors Program, received the Georgia Certificate <strong>of</strong> Merit, 2021, December Optimist Student <strong>of</strong> the Month, and recognized as an AP Scholar with Honor. As a soccer player with a passion for the sport, Chris has strived to share that passion with younger students and children. In that pursuit, he has taught soccer to daycare children and assisted the Warner Robins Middle School soccer club at practice. Chris plans to major in Computer Science. He has been accepted into Mercer University, but is awaiting other admissions decisions and has not decided where he will attend. Westfield Schools Valedictorian, London Susanna Williams London Susanna Williams, Valedictorian, is a High Honor Graduate with Distinction, an AP Scholar, and the recipient <strong>of</strong> numerous top average awards in many academic classes. She is a <strong>2022</strong> Golden Eagle nominee in the field <strong>of</strong> mathematics. A Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Ambassador, she is the recipient <strong>of</strong> numerous awards including the W<strong>of</strong>ford College Scholar Award, Presbyterian College Fellow Scholar Award, University <strong>of</strong> Rochester George Eastman Young Leaders Award, and University <strong>of</strong> Georgia Certificate <strong>of</strong> Merit Scholar Award. A graduate <strong>of</strong> the Perry Chamber Youth Leadership program, London serves as vice president <strong>of</strong> the senior class and as vice president <strong>of</strong> the Upper School student council. She is a member <strong>of</strong> the Peer Leadership team and has served as a member <strong>of</strong> the Tri Hi Y Club, Beta Club, Foreign Language Club, Prayer Club, Key Club, Fellowship <strong>of</strong> Christian Athletes, and the Homecoming Court. Outside <strong>of</strong> school, London competes in USA weightlifting where she has earned national level medals and awards. She is an active member <strong>of</strong> Harvest Church. London has attended Westfield since Pre-Kindergarten. She is the daughter <strong>of</strong> Susanne and Wes Williams <strong>of</strong> Fort Valley and will attend the University <strong>of</strong> Georgia. Salutatorian, Jeffrey Conner Shelton Jeffrey Conner Shelton, Salutatorian, is graduating with High Honors with Distinction and has earned top average awards in a variety <strong>of</strong> academic classes. He is Westfield’s <strong>2022</strong> STAR Student, <strong>Houston</strong> <strong>County</strong>’s <strong>2022</strong> STAR Student, and also the STAR Student for Region 6 which represents 19 school systems in central Georgia. Conner is a <strong>2022</strong> National Merit Scholar, an AP Scholar with Distinction, a <strong>2022</strong> Georgia Scholar, a 2021 Governor’s Honors attendee, and a <strong>2022</strong> Golden Eagle nominee for Technology. Conner is also the recipient <strong>of</strong> numerous academic awards including the W<strong>of</strong>ford College Scholar Award, Presbyterian College Fellow Scholar Award, and University <strong>of</strong> Georgia Certificate <strong>of</strong> Merit. He won the <strong>2022</strong> region and state championships for literary in argumentative essay and the <strong>2022</strong> region championship for literary in spelling. Conner is involved in community service and is an active member <strong>of</strong> Westfield’s varsity tennis team, Foreign Language Club, Green Team, Beta Club, and Key Club. He is a graduate <strong>of</strong> the Perry Chamber Youth Leadership program and is an active member <strong>of</strong> Perry United Methodist Church where he leads the youth band.
