Our hospital<br />
<strong>Lanchester</strong> <strong>Road</strong> <strong>Hospital</strong> is the trust’s new mental health<br />
and learning disabilities facility.<br />
The specially designed building sits in a<br />
beautifully landscaped environment on<br />
the outskirts of <strong>Durham</strong>.<br />
All the single, en-suite bedrooms are on<br />
the ground floor and each ward has its<br />
own communal, therapeutic and activity<br />
area as well as a separate therapy<br />
garden. There is also a central courtyard,<br />
which is easily accessible and has seating<br />
areas for everyone to enjoy.<br />
