SPECTRUM 2021

Launched last June 2021, this month-long event

aims to recognize the diversity in identities,

experiences, and lives of gender minorities in and even

outside CEAT as well as to validate the experiences of

individuals who still managed to take up significant

spaces in our society in a field that the status quo

dictates was not designed for them.

CEAT VOTES 2021

Launched last July 2021, this is an initiative to

encourage Filipino youth to register and exercise their

rights to vote by engaging the CEAT student body in the

said campaign. We recognize that there is no better

time for us to amplify the voices of the youth than

today where candidates incessantly circulate political

campaigns to show the masses that they are the wisest

choice.

BOLUNTERISMO PARA SA KAPWA PILIPINO SA GITNA NG PANDEMYA

Launched last March 2022, this is an initiative to

deepen the Filipino youth’s understanding, awareness,

and appreciation of volunteerism and how they can be

their own beacon of empathy and selflessness —

ultimately for the betterment of the community without

asking anything in return.

This Is an initiative that aims to raise funds to assist CEAT

students with their online class essentials. Throughout the

term, the donation drive had 2 phases and was able to raise a

total of Php 94,040 and help a total of 31 CEAT students.

GRIEVANCE FORMS

Provides a safe space for students to report their concerns

to the council. Throughout the term, the council was able to

accommodate a total of 131 grievances in which 112 were

resolved, 14 were unresolved, and 5 were denied (85.5%

resolution rate).

PETITION TO MAKE CEAT FORMS

GENDER INCLUSIVE

This initiative aims to promote inclusivity among its

constituents by updating the pronouns and honorifics in CEAT

forms. Petition letter was sent to CEAT Health, Wellness, and

Gender Program Committee last August 2021, and with their

help and cooperation, CEAT Forms are now finally more

gender inclusive.

SURVEY ON THE WELL-BEING OF

CEAT STUDENTS

It aims to collect all of the student body's personal and

academic concerns. The gathered information was utilized by

the council to determine which actions it should take and to

forward it to the administration if necessary.

APRIL 2021

Released to collate pertinent information from the students upon the

extension of ECQ and the denial of the request to extend the break.

OCTOBER 2021

Released in pursuit of incentivizing more students to empathize with

their other constituents and sending a narrative to the Faculty that a lot

of students are on the losing end.


SURVEY ON THE ACADEMIC

LOAD OF CEAT STUDENTS

Disseminated last July 2021 in order to aid the USC’s goal of

forwarding more pro-student policies in the future semesters.

PROPOSAL OF CEAT EQUITY

COMPLAINT FORM

Aims to establish a readily available and accessible platform to all

CEAT students for complaints such as but not limited to gender

discrimination, racial discrimination, body discrimination, and physical

and online harassment against co-student/s and professor/s.


PROPOSAL OF CEAT OFFICE OF

COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE

Aims to establish a localized Office of Counseling and

Guidance within CEAT committed to addressing the problems

of the CEAT students regarding their psychological, social,

emotional, educational, and occupational needs. The proposal,

however, was denied by the administration as of the moment

due to lack of manpower and the UPLB OCG still working.

Released at the start of every registration period which serves as

a reference sheet for petitions for all subjects taken by all CEAT

degree programs and is open to all CEAT students.

concerns, monitored by the Education and Research Committee.

Aims to prepare students on their examinations and courses in

general in hopes to aid them and improve their scholastic standing.

limited face-to-face classes in the college.

SENSING FORM

Released last March 2021 and aims to collate the

courses that need an F2F component, as well as the

assistance and specific concerns of the students. This

form will be forwarded to the college administration for

them to help craft a roadmap for

The CEAT SC Chairperson has a seat in

the CEAT Executive Committee Meetings,

and in addition to forwarding and lobbying

the concerns of students directly to the

administration, the council also uses this seat

to inform the student body of all studentrelated

agenda that were discussed during

the meeting.

Serves as a compilation of all the recent

pertinent information such as college and

university-wide announcements, events, and

statements disseminated monthly via email.

RELEASE OF CSL DIGESTS

Aims to compress the minutes of every CSL

meeting into a more digestible and accessible format

for those who were unable to attend the meeting.

MARKETING EMAIL

A separate email was launched last April

2021

designated specifically for marketing and

partnership purposes for easier navigation and

accommodation. With the help of this email, the

council was able to have a total of 139 Partners

and 29 Sponsors for events and activities all

throughout the term.

Strengthened by its goal of connecting with

the CEAT studentry, the Council established the

official CEAT Community Discord. Released last

August 2021, the Server is open to all CEAT

students and contains information dissemination

channels, gaming and entertainment hubs,

productivity corners, online lounges, and many

more.

Student Engagement


VOLUNTEER CORPS

The volunteer corps committee holds an orientation every

semester to open an opportunity to CEAT students to volunteer

in the CEAT Student Council. Volunteers extend their time and

effort to offer help to the committees under the CEAT Student

Council. Throughout the term, the council was able to mobilize a

total of 40 volunteers among CEAT students.

FRESHIE KUMUSTAHAN

A freshie welcoming event held last September 2021

where three notable CEAT alumni and a current CEAT

student shared their tips and tricks along with their

favorite experiences as part of CEAT.


UPLB STUDENT SUMMIT 2021

Spearheaded by the UP Office of the Student

Regent and UPLB Student Councils held last April

2021 which serves as an avenue for consultations,

discussions, and unification of campaigns with the

students regarding student concerns and our most

pressing concerns as a nation.


UPLB FEB FAIR 2022

Hosted by the USC, this is an

annual non-profit, week-long

event that serves as a venue to

raise the social awareness of the

UPLB student body and other

sectors of the Southern Tagalog

Region on local, regional, and

national issues. The theme for this

year is “BALIKWÁS: Paglukso sa

Landas ng Tunay na Kalayaan at

Karapatan”.

HIMIG AT SAYAW 2022

Event integrated in the annual CEAT Founding Anniversary

Celebration where CEAT organizations and non-affiliated

students are encouraged to participate to showcase their artistic

abilities and talents. This aims to bring back CEAT students, staff,

and faculty through their participation in this activity amidst the

pandemic. This year’s theme is "CEAT at the Forefront of

NEW CEAT SC SEAL

Launched last September 2021, in support of the past term’s

plans to change the current CEAT SC seal, the incumbent Council

has continued the proceedings necessary to craft a seal that

complies with the guidelines specified in the UP Visual Identity

Guidebook and most especially, represents the mission and vision

that drives the Council in serving the CEAT community and the

Filipino masses.

The current political

climate shows us how

important it is to continue

fighting disinformation and

defending our academic

freedom. With the initiative of

the UPLB Perspective, the

Council launched a Call for

Editor in Chief recognizing the

fact that a CEAT-based student

publication can better cater to

the needs of the CEAT

studentry.

Inter-Council Activities

General Assemblies (GAs)

This is the council's regular and highest decision-making

body, and this is where all of the council's initiatives and

plans of action are discussed and deliberated. Throughout

the term, the CEAT SC has convened a total of 30 General

Assemblies. In addition, the council also convened 2 Term

Plannings and 3 Emergency Meetings to discuss urgent

issues that require immediate actions.

Council of Student Leaders (CSL)

Meetings

This is the highest consultative arm of the Council open to all individuals,

organizations, and affiliations in CEAT. The Council has convened a total of 9

CSL Meetings and 1 Emergency CSL Meeting all throughout the term.


Inter-Council Activities

All Student Councils Assembly

(ASCA) Meetings

Spearheaded by the USC, ASCA Meetings are regularly held to discuss

and coordinate plans, and unify stances and perspectives among the UPLB

Student Councils.

Student Legislative Chamber (SLC)

Serves as the highest policy-making body of all UPLB Student Councils.

This is where fund allocations, house rules, and university-wide resolutions

are discussed. All throughout the term, the Council has attended 3 SLCs.

Councils (GASC)

Serves as the unifying body of all Student Councils and Official

Publications across the whole UP System spearheaded by the UP Office of

the Student Regent. This is where updates from all UP student units are

centralized and system-wide resolutions are deliberated and organized in

service of the entire student body. The Council has attended 3 GASCs (1

Emergency GASC) all through the term.

KASAMA sa UP (KSUP) National Congress

Inter-Council Activities

National Union of Students of the Philippines

(NUSP) National Congress 2021

This is a 2-Day Congress held last September 18-19, 2021, this congress

aims to unite the calls and strengthen the campaigns of all member

student councils and organizations across the country

National Union of Students of the Philippines

- Southern Tagalog (NUSP) Regional Congress

Held last November 21, 2021, this congress aims to unite all Southern

Tagalog-based student councils and organizations in forwarding calls for a

mass-oriented, scientific, and nationalist education in the country.

Ligtas Na Balik Eskwela Now - Southern

Tagalog (LNBE Now - ST) Youth Summit

Held last April 2, 2022, this summit aims to champion safe school

reopening and advance the youth’s role in nation-building.
