The Little John is a delightful<br />
inn, ideally placed on the<br />
edge of the beautiful village<br />
of Ravenshead in North<br />
Nottinghamshire. There’s<br />
plenty of parking and a lovely<br />
outdoor seating area to<br />
enjoy those warm summer<br />
evenings.<br />
The new head chef, Gareth<br />
Wilson, has a real talent for<br />
food and has developed an<br />
exciting new menu using fresh,<br />
local food that is cooked to<br />
order – so during busy times<br />
you may have to wait, but it<br />
will be worth it! Both pubs<br />
cater for gluten free on at least<br />
90% of their menu.<br />

9pm.<br />
There is also an early bird<br />
menu. Your four legged<br />
friends are also welcome and<br />
even have their own menu –<br />
just mention when booking, if<br />
you are bringing your dog.<br />
For petrol heads, the pub<br />
hosts car shows from April<br />
until October on the 1st and<br />
3rd Tuesday every month.<br />
And for those with a head full<br />
of useless information, the<br />
quiz night is every Monday<br />
from 7.30pm.<br />
Rose Cottage is situated<br />
in the Rufford forest area,<br />
minutes from Rufford Abbey,<br />
Clumber Park and Sherwood<br />
Forest. They have a beautiful<br />
hidden garden where you<br />
could enjoy a luxurious<br />
afternoon tea weekdays from<br />
12noon until 4pm. Booking is<br />
essential. This is also available<br />
at the Little John.<br />
