Outcome
The desired outcome of the Department of Fisheries
is the conservation and sustainable development of
the State’s fish resources.
The effectiveness of the Department in
achieving this outcome is determined by its
performance against the following mix of resource
sustainability, economic and social benefit measures.

Fisheries Management

Annual stock assessments of the fisheries that
