Snehal Pendurkar is a<br />
Mumbai-based artist<br />
and filmmaker. Hav<strong>in</strong>g<br />
always enjoyed pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
she aspired to be a<br />
professional artist s<strong>in</strong>ce she<br />
was young.<br />
Snehal has always felt a strong<br />
connection to <strong>the</strong> natural world.<br />
Spend<strong>in</strong>g her childhood roam<strong>in</strong>g<br />
around <strong>the</strong> lovely Coastal Ra<strong>in</strong>forest,<br />
<strong>the</strong> nature's beauty and enchantment<br />
she witnessed every m<strong>in</strong>ute of her<br />
existence captured her imag<strong>in</strong>ation<br />
and made her thankful to be able to<br />
see such magnificent creations. She<br />
has always been drawn to <strong>the</strong> rays of<br />
light that sh<strong>in</strong>e through <strong>the</strong> fog and<br />
haze, form<strong>in</strong>g a beam of light and <strong>the</strong><br />
particles that sh<strong>in</strong>e with<strong>in</strong> it, which<br />
she considers div<strong>in</strong>e and comfort<strong>in</strong>g<br />
to her spirit. She tries to relive <strong>the</strong>se<br />
moments by pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> feel<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong><br />
her works.<br />
She hopes to travel <strong>the</strong><br />
world, visit beautiful<br />
places and leave a legacy<br />
of artworks beh<strong>in</strong>d that<br />
br<strong>in</strong>gs smiles to people for<br />
years to come.<br />
Be<strong>in</strong>g a 90’s kid, she was<br />
enthralled by postcards as a child.<br />
Her pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs, she believes, are<br />
attempt<strong>in</strong>g to achieve a retro and<br />
v<strong>in</strong>tage style. She feels that her<br />
fasc<strong>in</strong>ation with postcards <strong>in</strong>fluenced<br />
her to establish her own style.<br />
Snehal has always believed that<br />
art is a bless<strong>in</strong>g and that it has <strong>the</strong><br />
ability to heal. She considers herself<br />
fortunate to have been born with<br />
<strong>the</strong> capacity to pa<strong>in</strong>t and connect<br />
with so many great people all over<br />
<strong>the</strong> world and believes that with <strong>the</strong><br />
advancement of technology and<br />
humanity's current state of well-be<strong>in</strong>g<br />
we are liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> f<strong>in</strong>est of times and<br />
should enjoy it. She hopes to travel<br />
<strong>the</strong> world, visit beautiful places and<br />
leave a legacy of artworks beh<strong>in</strong>d<br />
that br<strong>in</strong>gs smiles to people for years<br />
