#NHFGovernance
NATIONAL
HOUSING
FEDERATION

Over the last couple of years,
many boards and governance professionals in the social housing sector have been
working to bolster the effectiveness of their organisations’ governance models.
This will mean strengthening their frameworks and policies, reasserting their roles,
establishing board-level risk committees and clarifying the responsibilities of other
board committees.
The expectations of the regulator, Ombudsman, investors, and other stakeholders regarding
governance have shifted over the past two years. Stakeholders now see boards as more
accountable for the effectiveness of their overall governance process.
That’s why the Housing Governance Conference and Exhibition will provide you with
strategic insights and practical solutions on how to refine your governance arrangements,
improve stakeholder engagement and continue to be a high performing housing association.
Key themes include:
Balancing
aspirational
culture
against your
compliance
obligations.
Empowering
residents and
improving
engagement.
An update on
the Code of
Conduct.
In London or virtual? You choose.
Rethinking your
approach to
cybersecurity
governance.
Reflecting
risk appetite
in your
governance
structure.
Alternative
funding
models.
We're excited to hold the conference simultaneously at the Royal College of Physicians in London
and on our virtual event platform for those that can't attend in-person. Whatever ticket you
purchase, you have options if you change your mind and you'll receive access to all on-demand
sessions in our rich content library.
