OUR HISTORY 

The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield 

was chartered in 1954. Since that date, the Association has 

enjoyed continued growth and expansion as we have strived to 

assist and promote the building industry on the local level. 

Our local association is a member of the National 

Association of Home Builders (NAHB) with headquarters in 

Washington, D.C. We currently have approximately 345 members, 

representing builders, developers & associates in all areas 

of the housing industry. 

As chartered by the National Association of Home Builders, the 

HBA of Greater Springfield serves a 10-county region including: 

Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Lawrence, Polk, 

Stone, Taney, and Webster.
