GLEAMS_Life on Mars

<strong>GLEAMS</strong> project – Spring 2022

During STEAM week, children across the school took part in
activities to investigate the question:
“Could humans one day live on Mars?”
This provided each class with the opportunity to tackle science,
technology, engineering, art and maths projects; improve their
teamwork skills and develop their confidence in problem-solving.

Our termly <strong>GLEAMS</strong> homework project was linked to this
theme, with children being asked to draw and make a model
of a Mars Rover (using Lego, K’nex
or everyday household items)
that would be sent to the Red Planet
to detect if life once existed on Mars.
