Lions’ Youth of
the Year
The William Hansen
Youth of the Year award
will be presented during
the Mayor’s Breakfast on
Sat Mar 19.
The 2022 recipient will
be Memorial High School
senior and Leo Club
president, Madeleine
(Maddie) Cush.
Also recognized for
extraordinary volunteer
service will be HMHS
students Julia Hart,
Matthew Leming, and
Owen Breen.
The award is named
for William Hansen,
a dedicated Lion and
community volunteer
until his passing in 2020
at age 102.
The event, at the First
Presbyterian Church,
will begin at 9am.
All are welcome.

The NJ MasterChorale
and the Methodist
Church’s Chancel Choir
are looking for singers
– especially baritone and
bass.
Weekly in-person
rehearsals have
resumed, so this is an
ideal time to consider
joining one or both
of these choral music
ministries.
NJ MasterChorale is
preparing for its spring
concert, “The Promise
of Peace,” on Sun May 1
at 7 pm, with Dr. Jason
Vodicka, interim director.
