Calling local women artists

The High School’s 50/50 Club will hold its fourth annual Art Show at the

Haddon Fortnightly on Sat Mar 19, from 11am to 4pm. Titled “Through a

Woman’s Eyes” and with the theme “Honoring Hidden Women,” the event will

be co-sponsored by the Fortnightly’s Evening Membership Department.

Local female and female-identifying artists from high school age up are

encouraged to submit their work. The fee is $25 for up to five pieces ($5 per

piece for students). Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories, and some

works will be available for purchase.

There will be food and entertainment throughout the day, as well as a basket

raffle. The event is open to the public. Admission is free, although donations at

the door will be appreciated ($10 is suggested).

Proceeds will benefit Girls Learn International.
