Art in action
The Outdoor
Sculpture Trust will kick
off Sculpture Month
(April) with a special
event in Kings Court.
John Giannotti, the
sculptor of “Haddy,” will
create a polyurethane
casting of “I Sing the
Body Electric,” a 22" tall
bust of Walt Whitman.
Sat Apr 2 from 1pm. (If
rain: Sun Apr 3).
Coming up on stage, locally
Haddonfield Plays & Players is creating a new
studio space within the theater and will offer
dance education and performance as part of its
programming.
A preview of things to come will be presented on
Sat Mar 19: The launch of the theater’s Illumination
Series, a night of dance and movement featuring the
best talent in the region. Tickets are $25. 8pm.
On Sat Mar 26, Plays & Players will pay tribute to
the life and accomplishments of Stephen Sondheim
with selections from works such as Gypsy, Sweeney
Todd, and Into the Woods. Tickets are $25.
