Mit dem BMW Concept XM präsentiert BMW M
zum ersten Mal ein expressives neues Fahr zeug konzept.
Das Modell gibt einen Ausblick auf das stärkste jemals in
Serie gebaute BMW M Automobil, dessen Produktion Ende
2022 startet. Gleichzeitig beleuchtet das BMW Concept XM
außergewöhnliche Aspekte der Marke »M«: Elektrifizierung
sorgt für ein herausragendes Fahrerlebnis zwischen nahezu
geräuschlosem Gleiten und M typischen High-Performance-
Eigenschaften. Das BMW Concept XM zeigt erstmals
das neue Frontdesign für die zukünftige Luxusklasse von
BMW. Darüber hinaus sehen wir eine enorm progressive
und eigenständige Interpretation des Designs der BMW X
Modelle sowie eine vollkommen neue Form von Luxus und
Raumgefühl im Interieur des Fahrzeugs.
Damit bringt die BMW M GmbH zu ihrem 50-jährigen
Bestehen das erste eigenständige Modell seit dem legendären
BMW M1 auf die Straße. Der BMW XM wird exklusiv
nur als M und ausschließlich als Plug-in-Hybrid erhältlich
sein.
Das markante äußere Erscheinungsbild steht für die überragenden
Performance-Eigenschaften: Dynamik, Agilität
und Präzision mit einer elektrischen Reichweite von bis zu
80 km. Der neu entwickelte M Hybrid-Antrieb des BMW
Concept XM kombiniert ein V8-Triebwerk mit einer hoch
performanten E-Maschine und erzeugt eine Spitzenleistung
von 750 PS sowie ein maximales Dreh moment von
1.000 Nm. Damit weist das erste elektrifizierte Fahrzeug
der BMW M GmbH im High-Performance-Segment den
Weg für die Zukunft der Marke.
Power and Luxury Beyond All Conventions
For the first time, BMW M presents an expressive new vehicle
concept on the global stage: the BMW Concept XM. It looks
ahead to the most powerful BMW M car ever to go into series
production, which is set to begin at the end of 2022. At the same
time, the BMW Concept XM shines the spotlight on standout
aspects of the M brand. Electrification underpins an extraordinary
driving experience which allows the driver to both glide along in
near silence and enjoy the time-honoured pleasure of high performance,
M-style. The BMW Concept XM provides a first glimpse
of the new front-end design for BMW’s forthcoming luxury-class
models. It will also introduce its audience to a highly progressive
and distinctive take on BMW X model design and an all-new
form of luxury and sense of space for the interior.
The newly developed M Hybrid drive system in the BMW Concept
XM brings together a V8 engine and a high-performance electric
motor to develop maximum output of 750 hp and peak torque
of 1,000 Nm. The BMW XM will be available in plug-in hybrid
form, M Hybrid, only and exclusively as an M model.
