Murat CANIK, General Manager of Elvin Tekstil, providing
services on home textiles, stated that they have export-oriented
growth targets and that they continue to grow despite the pandemic
conditions.

anik, in the interview he gave to our magazine,
underlined that they export to nearly 40 countries
and that they produce highly innovative products
with marvels of design. CANİK, expressing that they
show up in textile fairs at home and abroad, noted
that the Turkish textile market is a global sector.
Mr. Murat, can you tell us about your company’s
background and your personal business life?
Our company has been in the field of decorative textiles since
1959 as an integrated facility in the production of drapery, upholstery
and decorative bedspread fabrics. It has ISO 9001, ISO
50001, and OEKO-Tex and GRS certifications. It exports approximately
85% of its production to nearly 40 countries, mainly to
the European, USA, Japan, Australian and New Zealand markets.
I have been working in various positions at Elvin Tekstil since
about 2010. Since 2016, I have been working as the General
Manager of our family company. We have been working for a long
time together with our teammates for our company to achieve
an export-oriented growth. Despite the ongoing pandemic conditions,
we can easily say that we continue to grow.
