• PREEMPTED—An active <strong>service</strong> is preempted by a higher priority<br />

<strong>service</strong>. Wait for the <strong>service</strong> to be<strong>com</strong>e active again.<br />

• DEDICATED—Indicates that DASA operation is granted. Operation in<br />

DASA is ruled by MIL-STD 188-181B covering 5-kHz and 25-kHz dedicated <strong>UHF</strong><br />

SATCOM. Use the appropriate DAMA port configuration preset needed for the DASA<br />

<strong>service</strong>.<br />

• IDLE—The radio is inactive or setting up a <strong>service</strong>.<br />
